Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!! This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Well, folks, here comes my review. As far as I know, no one could go up to the stage. Kathy may be able to let us know if I'm right. I asked the folks beside to let me know when people go up but apparently, the casino workers had ropes up. Boohoo.
May 6th thru the 8th, I went to visit 2 dear friends in Palm Desert CA. I even met a friend of theirs & had a wonderful time.
I went to see Michael Bolton perform at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, CA on May 7th. Before I start my review here, I want to come out & thank Michael Bolton's management for a pass to go backstage. In all the 20 some years of being one of his fans, I was totally surprised & would have understood if I hadn't had the opportunity. I went to the Will Call Office to pick up my ticket & they also gave me the pass. I wrote asking if I could have a back stage pass & was given such an opportunity. I did see Kathy LAFD briefly. We were both pre-occupied at the box office. I was then taken by one of the folks at the casino to my seat. The show began about 8:18 "Michael Bolton" time. :) He, his band, backup singers--everyone were awesome. Security told me it was almost a full house of about 2,000 people. Wow! He did do one new song & here is the set list:

7. Now to the duets with Sam Fly--To Make You Feel My Love

11. Of course, he dedicated Nesum Dorma to Mr. Pavarotti
Sam Fly sang "When I'm Back On My Feet Again.
Kathy LAFD can let us know if she sang any more songs.

14. Steel Bars
Michael then introduced the band. His backup singers & band were coming through with flying colors. The sound was so awesome too.

I patiently waited for security & the kind gentleman took me back. Michael teased me saying they had a search party out for me. I was confused. Was told to go before the show & the folks at the ticket Box office said afterwards. Michael was his kind, gentle, self. We talked about the new album & how the sound was coming through. I did thank him for letting me meet up with him again. I'll soon have a picture sent. If I could go back into a time warp, I would. :) The more chances I've had to meet up with Michael, the better it gets.

Hey Robin, thanks so much for your review girl! I am so happy you finally got the Michael stamp of approval for a backstage pass!!! After such a long wait to hear him in concert in your area, I can only imagine what went through your mind! Thanks as always for the setlist and great memory. What did you think of Sam Fly and how was “I got a woman” from your point of view? Pretty cool getting both that one and “Georgia” back to back... Shouldn't say on here but there is a video on YouTube of Michael singing "I Got A Woman" at RAH and OMG I am playing it all the time and dancing ... talk about a jive number and reckon one good way to lose weight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I really enjoyed your review Robin. Much deserved for you to get a chance to visit with MB. I am thrilled for you. I am glad they got you after whatever the mix up was. MB is too funny. He wanted to see you girl. It's great you got to talk to him about the CD and all. Yes you know I love HCWBL. My fav concert song. LOL
I cannot wait to hear some more new songs, and I can imagine how good I Got A Woman is live.. Stay on the Bolton cloud a a long time Robin. Woo Hoo!

Hope you're ok Kathy LAFD. About the mix-up, Management told me possibly before the show but will cal said afterwards. No matter before or after, it worked out & it's just totally awesome. I'm still flying high, on that overdose of adrenolyn. :)

Hi ladies...I have been trying to get on the forum but I was getting a message that says site not found? But alas here I am. It was a blur trying to catch you Robin! Someone was helping you and then I came to the counter and a clerk started helping me when I noticed you and said Hi and you turned my way but each of our clerks NEVER stopped speaking to us so we each had to immediately focus on what they they were saying. I figured I could catch you when we finished but then when I was done I saw you enter the venue....which was earlier than general admittance...and the doors were locked!! I checked!! lol so Bob and I went and played some slots and lo and behold it was time to get to our seats!! No worries I am sure we will meet up at another concert :)
