I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.

You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why.  Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed.  The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates.  Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!

Hi Sylvia,

I'm glad you've sorted things out for yourself, that's one down.   I didn't get anywhere though.   I spent at least 10 minutes listening to some woman singing a song from Evita - can't for the life of me remember which one now - but it was over and over again. I wouldn't have minded but it sounded dreadful!   So yes, I spent money waiting to speak to a man who knew nothing, advised me Manchester wouldn't be rescheduled and to send my ticket back if I wanted a refund.    I told him all that I knew explaining that I'd rung him for more information.   He didn't know and said it would be best "if I just held on to my ticket for now".

On a personal note, I've reached the point now where I'll pay the money not to receive anything to do with this fiasco.    I'm so tired of searching websites and listening to different promises, different versions people come up with.   My family are ready to disown me if I mention this again!

I know it's a lot of money.   I'm one of the lucky ones that hasn't lost money on Hotels or Airfares and for that I'm thankful.    But if this carries on I think it would sour my enjoyment of Michael and this tour, and I don't want that.    I admire him and all he's accomplished.    I love the music he's written, the songs he sings (I know, you all do too :) ).    I don't think I can ask for more.  Sincere apologies to all those not in the UK who have had to put up with us these past few days.

Hi Diane,

i have decided, as I had email and txt , gonna assume tickets will just swap over! Have booked hotel for November on pay on day , cancellation, Premier Inn, so at worse. Cost £15 difference on hotel, and see what happens!! As hub had paid for hotel this weekend up front when he booked my ticket, we have decided to go have time in Manchester. May just wander to Opera house and see what they saying!!!! Let’s just hope, come November, we are all there enjoying and having a good laugh on all this!,

Jules

Hi Julie,

I think until the date of the MB cancellation i.e. 11th. Feb., gets closer there's not a lot we can do now.  They're still advertising Michael for February at the Opera House and that may not change until just before the 11th so please don't be disappointed if you get nowhere with them whilst you're here.    The Premier Inn is a brilliant place to stay, in my opinion, and if it's the one I'm thinking of there's the most amazing restaurant next door to it!   Just watch out for the traffic!

In any case, I do hope you enjoy your weekend here.   Have a safe and enjoyable journey :)

It’s wonderful to see so many people posting. I’m sorry it has to be in regards in canceled shows. I can’t wait to hear what the November shows will be like.

Sally

Hi Sally,

Yes it is surprising just how many of us leap out of nowhere and emerge, screaming for blood and demanding satisfaction (a slight exaggeration there).   I don't know a lot of the names myself although seen a few on Facebook.   I'm not a Twitter person, can't stand the thing.   But here we all are having fun :)    Perhaps we'll all come on and give a little bit of our experience of listening to MB, be nicer than this confusion.   Apologies for all the ranting everyone's had to put up with.

For those wondering they are saying the concert comes with the cost of entry.  ;)

Looks like they offer priority seating for an additional fee.

Here is the new poster from Kong Events for the rescheduled dates.  Tickets will go back on sale 19th February so if you wish a refund for a rescheduled show make sure you return your tickets before 19th February for it not you will automatically be swapped to the new date.

Thank you Sylvia!!!

Now sets me thinking!!!  Went to Opera House this morning, not a sign Michael should have been on! No one there just note to go to Palace ticket office so couldn’t be bothered!! Made most of time in Manchester Anyhow! Now wondering wether to do Bridgewater or ultimate RAH then back to Manchester for Audience with!!  Or Blackpool would be easy option, ??  Do we know if presale or just Friday 16th for tickets?

Julie xx

Julie, just seems to be general on sale February 16th.  There are several categories of tickets as well.  There is one where you get your picture taken with Michael...so check those out.
