hi 3 of us suppose to be going tonight but due to adverse weather conditions we are unable to do so we have 4 feet of snow we cannot drive as we cannot get off the street, buses are running intermittently, as someone else said the police are advising people not to travel . Not only that it has forecast more heavy snow tonight at 21.00 hours. We contacted City hall  spoke to someone who was very nice ,we know it is not his fault it is the promoter . We actually rang the promoter  3 A  entertainment she was very very rude and basically said if we were not prepared to travel then it was our loss as others have paid for tickets and the concerts going ahead. We tried to explain it was dangerous for us to even try , We are very very disappointed that we cannot  go we cannot get a bus the trams do not run where we live as we live outside Sheffield surely the people promoting the show can see the situation everyone is in. We are 3 disappointed fans who are very angry at the promoters response.

hi me and my family are also bitterly disappointed at not being able to attend the concert a sheffield city hall we have had out tickets since february and have been excited since then. We too wanted the concert to be cancelled and re arranged so we could enjoy seeing michael at his best like last time we saw him two years ago. That was the second time I had seen him and I was buzzing for months after. We cant get our car off our road as we live on a hill and there are no buses up here so we are stuck.
I've had dealings with this woman from 3A entertainment in the past, she's obnoxious to fans making enquiries about tickets, concerts etc.

I'm so sorry for all of you in Sheffield that can't make the concert, but if travel advise is telling you not to travel, then its not worth chancing. I hope Michael is feeling better, but maybe another night off would have been wiser for his health.

I too have spoken to the 'lady' at 3A and got the same response - it isn't her fault the snow is an act of God. Looking at all the posts I have seen Michael will be playing to very few people and leaving lots of very disappointed and out of pocket fans.
Hi,

Don't know whether it will be worth writing to them, a group of people (10) from work were suppose to see Billy Elliott last Wednesday at the theatre in London, needless to say due to the weather they couldn't go.... they rang the theatre and was told if they wrote in and explained they would be given other tickets for another day..... l know this is not the same and Michael may not visit your town again next year..but you may get tickets for something else! Just an idea.... good luck and so sorry you couldn't get to the concert.

Best wishes
Carol (London)
Sorry, I dont understand, are you asking someone for a refund because you cant get to the concert because of the weather?

I dont understand why you are angry with the promoter? I'm afraid that I agree with the promoter that it is not their fault that you cannot get there?

Is there no way you could walk down to where the buses are running or hire a taxi between you to the venue?

The trouble is, it might only be a handful of fans who cant get there and the concert cant be cancelled just for a few people when the majority who can get there by whatever means will be dissappointed.

I know that I would move hell on earth to get to a Michael concert even if it meant hiring a taxi from Essex to London at a cost of £140 return. Oh I did didnt I? Ha Ha!! Doh!!

Michael is only in the UK for a few more days so if the concert doesnt go ahead now, you may have to wait another 18months or so until he's back.

Apologies if this isnt what you are saying ,but this is just how I read your post.
