Michael Haiku!

 

I thought it'd be fun for everyone to try their dab hand at some haiku, and what better way to do it than make Michael the topic! :D

For those who aren't sure what Haiku is here is a brief explanation on how to write one:

Write a short poem, perhaps short enough that it can be said in a breath

Write the poem in three lines, with the second line slightly longer than the first and last.

If the "traditional" syllable count is used for the haiku, use this form:

  5 syllables      7 syllables      5 syllables

 

Here is my example:

 

Michael is the best

His singing is amazing

His voice is superb

 

Not a very good one, but it sums up the premise of a 'Michael Haiku'! Have a go, and have some fun :D

Hi Jenna,

what a wonderful idea. I looked for some more information and was lucky to find an interesting article on wikipedia. I ignored what I could not handle or had no interest in .-). So here is my attempt:

 

I   Whale’s song. Ocean swings.

     Human voice. Soul flies.

     Spirit breathes peace.

 

II   Singing. Wings of joy.

     Said I loved you but I lied.

     Enjoy the ride - now.

 

III  Life. Cog in God’s plan.

     Breath. If I can dream. The quest.

     Peace. Who is like him?

 

That was pure pleasure and fun. Thank you so much.
