I know this is way off topic, but just wanted all these good folks on this forum to please keep all the people in Nashville Tennessee in your prayers for awhile, they are still under water by feet!! (10-20 feet) from this past weekend's monsoon rain storms (20 inches in 48 hours!). My daughter lives up there and luckly she was spared from loosing anything, well her job is at risk as it is still under water!! But she is safe!! So much of the music industry has been affected up there, many historic landmarks such as the Ryman Aututorium, Opryland Hotel, OpryMills, Wildhorse Saloon,Grand Ole Opry, just to name a few, will never be the same again, or at least for a long time. Worst of all, many have lost everything they own, and many lives have been lost.
We, in Memphis are at least drying out faster than they are, (we had 15 inches in 48 hours) but some here in the out lying areas are still in dangerous flood waters, our downtown was spared for the most part. Some places have not really televised this very much because so much is going on in the gulf coast, Nashville been overlooked by so many... thank you for reading this.
