Working on New CD - 2011

Well as you have seen posted in other threads, Michael is recording and working on his next CD.  I found this yesterday and thought you would enjoy.  Any findings or info you find on the new CD...please post it here..thanks!

You know the Rascal Flatts boys have been collaborating with Justin Beiber.

Now it seems the mega-country group is going with, uh, the opposite demographic.

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts put up a picture of his group with Michael Bolton.

Jay tweets that they’re all writing a new song for Michael’s new album.

Won’t Justin be jealous?

I've never heard of Rascal Flatts?? So have no idea what they sound like or what sort of music they produce. I'll have to look them up.

 

Sounds like this album is going to be a huge collboration and I for one cannot wait!!

A tad bit more...there are a few more collaborations...not country.  Also, he is aiming for a Mother's Day release...the key word here is aiming for!!!LOL

Yeah "Aiming For" are key words in that sentence Gail! LOL,  He said May when I asked about the new album a few weeks ago so maybe, just maybe he will make it for that day?? Would be great!!!. LOVE it that he's doing more collaborations with this new CD!!!

Hi Robin

We have just got our power back on we had a mean storm here last night about 6pm and it came back on at about 10:15 am this morning

Gosh it's boring without power the battery on my laptop only last about 2 and a half hours I watched 2 episodes of NCIS and that was the end of it.

I know you know how it feels :)

Anyway back on topic I have since listened to a couple of Rascal Flatts songs and they are very country I am sure I will love whatever Michael and Rascal Flatts come up with :)

Mothers Day hmmmm lets see LOL! would put nice to have a new CD from Michael

Hey Dianna, here's an off-topic question: when is mother's day in Australia? I'm asking because the British girls mentionned it being early April in Britain and it's the second Sunday of May for North America. Just curious. Hi Sylvie our Mothers day is the same as the US the 8th May :)

Australia's Mother's day is always the second Sunday in May

Fathers Day is always the 1st Sunday in September over here now I'm pretty sure our Father's Day is different than the US

Hi again Dianna, hmm, that's interesting... Wouldn't you think they'd be the same internationally? Yep, Father's day  is way different in America: it's the third Sunday in June. I was gonna say second Sunday, but I remembered it often came on my uncle's birthday. Have I ever told you about my sword-swallowing uncle? lol Talk about off-topic! CMT has a show called Country Crossroads and I am hoping Michael and Rascal Flatts will be featured on this show in the near future

I am praying that Michael isnt working on 'Michael time' for this album!! Ha Ha!!

 

Now the US Mothersday is May 8th isnt it?  Hmmm, Do you think we can encourage Michael to bring it out for the UK Mothersday on April 3rd???  Think that might be asking way too much isnt it? Ha Ha!!
