I'd love to see this CD go far. I was hoping for one world one love too but got dissappointed but hey! Where there's life; there's hope. But didn't I say I was gonna shut up. I don't know how. :)

As long as Michael is producing music CD's and concerts who cares about popularity. The top 100 don't matter, just enjoy his new music Gems and then have a Merry Christmas with Michael's new Christmas CD. I thought Only A Women Like You would top the charts but it didn't. I almost wore out that CD lol. You don't have to shut up keep venting.

Thanks Jimmy. I hear you about the popularity. I used to think, Hmm. the less popular he is, the more chances to get to meet him. Not that I don't want him to be popular or well liked.

Over i nthe UK on Heart radio with the likes of Emma Bunton, Jamie Theakston, and Jason Donavon, their slogan is ' More Music, More Variety'. Well ,I can tel lyou that is utter rubbish!!!!!

I listen from around 9:30am until around lunchtime some times longer and I one morning this week I heard almost their entire current playlist, I heard Adele, (someone like you, rolling in the deep and make you love me') Michael Buble (Crazy life, and Havent met you yet) The Wanted (Gold forever and All time low) Take that (The Flood) Rihanna (Only girl in the world) Olly Murs (Thinking of me) Mike Posner (Cooler than me ) Matt Cardle (whe nwe collide) JLS (Love you more) Jessie J (Price tag)  Al Green (lets stay together) Barry Manilow ( Copacobana & Mandy)  Fat Larrys band (Zoom) Carpenters (we've only jus tbegun)....and so on and so forth!!

A real honest mixture of oldies and new tracks.  I have sent numerous texts and e-mails and have now sent a letter to the head of planning to request a reasonable explanation as to they they refuse to play Michaels music.

I am determined to get Michaels new album on their playlist!! If they can play rubbish like some of the stuff they play, they can blooming well play some decent Music but probably the best artist of all time and certainly the most versatile artist who's art spills across several genres, Michael Bolton.

I will get something done, of that I'm sure!!

Good Luck Jennifer I understand your feelings about Michael's music not being played on the radio.Myself I would rather play it in my living room or on my pc it sounds better.

All of you have great points. Can't or won't dispute them. I'll shut up for now about all this.

Robin, you don't have to shut up about anything.....LOL!!!!  We all respect each other's opions and idea's in regards to Michael or any other artist.  I was just wondering the other day.....except for Seal, we don't see any other African American artists performing on Michael's duet CD (as it stands for now).  Over the years, many AA artists were "friendly" with Michael, so you would think a few of them would jump at the chance to record with him!!!  But, maybe there are other surprises on the way in regards to this CD....so we will just wait and see what else comes up!!  In the meantime like Jimmy says, maybe we need to stick to our CD, Records, cassettes, etc...to listen to Michael...if the radio stations are not realiable.

Gail.....I don't remember the Santana duet CD, since I don't follow him.  But in regards to various artists on the radio, I know that WCBS-FM, which is the oldies station here in NY, plays Manilow, Richard Marx and others.  When they play Michael on a rare occassion its always WAMLAW, not any of his other songs.......which is too bad.

Helena...xx...

Hi Helena, as you said, we don’t have  all of Michael’s collaborators on the CD yet. Is it important that there’d be one or more African American artist on the CD? Well, in any case, it certainly promises to be multi-cultural! As Gail said, Michael chose the artists who will be on and I have a feeling he’ll have us listening to artists we never gave a second thought of listening too: you gotta love him! :D Whatever happens with radio, the important thing is that we support him. I do agree that we usually hear Michael’s covers on the radio, but I’m very happy to report that the Canadian Galaxy digital cable music stations do play his own music on various channels. Roll on June for new music! Take care Helena. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

You know what is so funny Helena and Sylvie is that I usually always hear Michael's songs in the grocery store!!! Now if his voice can "help" us ladies buy groceries....then WHY don't they play his music on the radios????? Who knows what else he might "help sell"!!! Just a thought :)

Kathy and LAFD Bob

Yeah, love hearing Michael's music in the grocery stores too. They know what's right.
