2013 Book and CD Promotions

I wanted to start a new thread here to keep any promotional tv or other appearances for Michael new book or CD.  So far this is what I have.  They will also be listed on the main page but I will try to remember to bring them over here.  As always, check your local listings for times and stations but most will be NBC.  Times will vary:

Hi all, well here's my last report on Canadian interviews on "E.T. Canada". Well first, I loved how he was presented as being, after 40 years, to be  "hotter than ever"! :D They showed clips of Michael saying he'd never thought he'd be working after the age of 40, about doing the job he loves and  didn't want to stop after 6:00, the hardships he's endured, people he's worked with and they did show a clip of Michael and Melanie Fiona singing, probably from the Casino  Rama show. They focussed on the book and just mentionned the CD, but by title at least. That's it: short and sweet, but informative to the average Joe. Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada

Alot of entertainers are still working into their 70's, maybe that keeps them younger longer. I beleive Tony Bennett is in his early 80's and still books concerts so there you go, LOL..... Lucky for MBs fans he is still at it and so very glad he is.

Hey Kathy, you're very welcome. Michael often mentions Tony Bennett, who will be 87 this August, by the way. He has the same birthday as Michael's daughter Isa: August 3rd. I have a feeling Michael wants to be Tony Bennett "if" he grows up... XD I love Tony: I think he's awesome... Anyway, thanks for your comment sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada

Hi Ladies,

Well then if Tony is almost 87 then MB can certainly shoot for 90, LOL..... Let's hope MB stays the same as he is now for awhile yet anyway.

Neat Tony&Isa's birthdays are the same day. I'll never get caught up on all these comments. I have 400 60 something messages. Wow!

Sylvie, Neat about te ET in your area&awesome all Michael said. Yeah, Kathy in Tulsa, I believe Tony could even be in his mid & upper 80's but I don't know. Wow. Go Tony&especiall, "Go Michael."

Michael & I both never grew up. As I always say, "I'm 16 years with # years experience&you get my age. It's difficult to grow up. I thought Tony was about 86 or something like that. Go Tony. Go Michael.

Thanks for that review Sylvie and glad you are getting to hear all of these interviews with MB.....it is great isn't it for I well remember all the excitement when he did his promotional tour here for "Gems" .....that was as special as going to a concert....well.....maybe, NOT quite !!!!!! LOL.

On Tony Bennett Michael in a very recent interview said about all these stars and their ages and Tony in particular and hinted that he would love to be like him at 85 and still going strong but as he said and has always said, as long as he still has his High C, he will continue......I heard that interview only a few days ago but sorry (you all know me) can't remember which one.....think the way I am going, at 85, I'll be lucky if I remember me !!!!!! ROFL.

This time, it’s an actual video from the “Q” show with Jian Ghomeshi. There’s a TV version of the show and I wrote to “Q” to find out if I’ve missed it or if it’s in next Sunday’s show. I suggest Canadians check their local listings and everyone else check You’Tube, since this video is from YouTube.

While I’m here, I just want to send a big shout out to my beautiful friend Robin R who’s an absolute doll: she had ordered me an audio “The soul of it all” to get it signed for me at the Whisper Lounge event, she’s had it personally signed for me and I got it in the mail yesterday! She was sweet enough to have it signed “To Sylvie Qc Canada...” so it’s personalized and I’m thinking I can only hope it might prompt Michael to look into this wondrous land of “Qc”, ... As I said in other thread Sylvie it has been posted before and you posted it on 18th February on this thread and it is on page 48 and below is link into it.  Okay, it may be new on youtube for the station has just uploaded it but it is not new for I knew I had heard Michael talking about why he does "old" songs and especially the bit where he is carried away in his enthusiasm talking about it all and he nearly lets slip that four letter word....it is a funny bit for you see Michael's eyes widen when he suddenly realizes and just stops himself in time and you can see on his face that he wants to laugh at it but is too involved in the discussion.....it is a brilliant bit for it is, truly, Michael !! :)

It is the exact same interview in that Michael is sitting in a radio studio, at a table with a radio mike in front of him and you can just see the back/side of Jian's head in some shots and he has on headphones;  it is not done in a television studio.

Want to say fantastic what Robin CA did for you Sylvie.....just absolutely wonderful and I am so, so pleased for you, absolutely delighted !!! :)
