2013 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!!!! EVERYONE WELCOME!! COME ON IN AND JOIN THE FUN!!
Welcome everyone to the 2013 Tour Review Thread!!!!!!! It is hard to believe another year is soon upon all of us and it should be a fantastic Michael Bolton year full of fun and adventures for Michael's fans around the world!
Feel free to post your stories and pictures, any videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!! Michael will be touring in 2013 starting in Jamaica in January. There could be other events too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert come on in and share your experience here. We also have shows scheduled in the USA for February and one is on MB’s birthday which will be extra special!! This should be a very exciting year for all of us with MB’s new book coming out as well as a new CD and possibly his TV show starting later in the year too? We never know with MB as he’s got so many things going on at once!!LOL We can report here if there are any book signings as well if you all want to. Also, later in the year the Michael Bolton Charities will schedule their events to raise funds for the MBC.
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

The only video that I can find from 8 concerts is below.....is everybody saving on batteries, or something ??? LOL. Even this one gets cut off before the end but what you do see and hear is terrific.

Hey everyone. I am home from Chester. Was a very long night but we had fun. Mom was with me and she enjoyed it all.
I will post a review later today. It was a fun concert but not as exciting as some of the others. It started late and with it being a casino, that means shorter and no opening with Soul Provider :(. But MB was great as always and we had 2nd row left side aisle and close to the stage seats. I do have some pictures despite a different obstacle this time. A lady who was a high roller I am guessing from the casino in front of us waving her arms most of the night and yelling she loved MB to him alot. She was there last year, but down the other side. I had to dodge her to get pics and some of them didn't turn out..I have enough to post I think tho. OMG LOL
Was fun seeing my buddy June again and Sally too and her friend.We all had seats together again like last year!!LOL.My mom hadn't seen MB on stage in 2 years and said she could tell how much more relaxed he is since then. I agree with her..He was laughing and kidding around alot more than when she saw him two years ago. She got his book too..Was fun to take her with me just the two of us and hang out all day and do the concert together. One day I may not be able to do that with her so it made it fun taking her again.
More later..Hope the gals have a blast in A City tonight.

Aw! Robin, I don't know. :))))) Sounds like an awesome review thus far. I'm sorry it was difficult with picture taking because of the one woman. I'm glad your mom enjoyed the show as well. I'm glad June&Sally & her friend was there. This girl Cindi K. was there. She called me beforehand. I hadn't seen her since November 2006 @ the Taj Mahal. Called her cell taking a gamble & i8t was her. Wow!

CHESTER PA 3/1/2013 My last show of this run of concerts! Wow, what a week and half it's been!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!! Thank you MB!!!!
I am glad my mom could go along to this show with me as she's not been in some time and had a great time. She likes different kinds of music.

Very low stage too so that works!!!! :) This is a very small venue and you are very close even a few rows back. I do have some pictures despite a different obstacle this time. A lady who was a high roller I am guessing from the casino in front of us waving her arms most of the night and yelling she loved MB to him alot. She was there last year, but down the other side. I had to dodge her to get pics . The other song that was taken out of the setlist was Nessun Dorma..Mom loved that and hoped to hear it again but she was happy he did The Prayer..Said that was worth the drive for her!!LOL MB did ask how far people drove to the show and the furthest was like 10 hours away.. He asked what states people were from and I said Maryland and he repeated it and a few others. He saw June and I not after too long and smiled down at us during the first half over the top of the lady screaming at him all night!! OMG. He and Kelly really nailed the duets again this time around.. I love that section of the show with the Motown Music. Those songs got alot of applause. When they did The Prayer we gave them a Standing Ovation, quite a few folks stood. The band rocked their interlude.
Michael did not mention his book this time, he didn't have a copy on stage that I could see like before either. He talked about the new Motown CD only.
When time for WAMLAW we knew there was just the center aisle so MB would be coming down right past us.. June and I stood at the end of our row and he stopped when he saw us and squeezed our hands quickly and smiled before going up the steps to the stage. That was cool...We had thought about going to the stage but there were big guards at either end of the stage and they were not letting people too long in the aisle for photos so we didn't chance it. We were still close chair dancing and MB was smiling and putting the mic down for us to sing like he does sometimes!!LOL Even at us in the seats. He winked our way once during How Can We Be Lovers!!LOL I can tell tho he misses the fans at the stage during the 2nd half. That connection isn't the same.
He came back out and sat right in front of us for Georgia and we thought that was it but then he said they were almost out of time and everyone started yelling out songs. We said Jack Sparrow and he started laughing and then he turned to Ryan and I could tell he said Steel Bars! So we rocked out to that as the final song of the night and when it ended I walked up to the center stage and took some pics of the line up and him saying bye. At that point no one bothered me! I got some cute ones of the line up-caught MB and the entire band this time, finally. It only took me 4 shows to get a good one!!LOL I have some close up and one of MB saying bye. I did ask for his copy of the setlist after the show just to see what it had and not all on there was sung and some sung wasn't on there!!LOL I've gotten some of them over the years!
I did see Diane from the forum sitting a few rows back and waved. Diane I hope you had a nice time!! We saw no other familiar fan faces that we recognized! MB didn't either we don't think!LOL
Mom is already reading the book today and really enjoying it she said. All in all I had an amazing run of 4 shows this time around and cannot thank MB and his people enough for their continued kindness towards the fans.. I don't want to come down off this Bolton Cloud for a very long time!!!! Such a great bunch of memories!!!!! I needed this break more ways than one and it was nice to just go and have fun with friends for a few shows like in the old days when we went to show after show.
