Hi everyone,
I think enough of us are watching American Idol (AI) to make this thread worthwhile. So I am taking Sylvie from Canada's suggestion to move it from New Tour Reviews 2011 and give it it's own thread here in Off Topic. Since tonight starts the top 11 voting, it's getting interesting and a good time to start talking about it.
I have been a fan since it started 10 years ago. Hard to believe it's been on that long, not many TV shows last that long. So to anyone watching: "who is your favorite?"

Sorry I know someone on here liked him, but his song tonight was more about him venting and being mad than singing well. I agree with Steven Tyler on that issue. Found a good recap of the night if you missed it:
Erika did a major hair change! I like the cut, but I think I like her blonde better.My favorites as of now are: Jessica, Colton, Joshua, Hollie and Elise. Jessica & Colton so far unless something changes I think should end up as the last two.

Jessica certainly made it her own! Among the guys, Joshua sounds to me like he’s the one who has the most passion but he needs to find a song he can connect too. I thought Erika did a good job with “New York state of mind” because it’s not an easy song to personalize. I have to say I’m not sure who should go though. Joy, I have to ask you: how do you rename a link from “http-whatever” to “click here...”? Just wondering, it’s a cool thing to be able to do. :D Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

I agree Joy...Hejun has over stayed his welcome. Both Diddy and Tyler hit the nail on the head!!!! Arrogance is not becoming to a "beginner" or anyone for that matter. Maybe Hejun's parents think he is "cute" but I don't. JMO..... :) I like your group Joy and I would still include Philip and Erika in there for the time being :) Time will tell!

Hands down it has to be Jessica, she's very consistant, and that song was "HER"..like Steven said: But then there's Phillip Phillip's?
He's really good, too! But I don't care for Heejun at all...JMO! He's got to go next week! I hated to see Erika go, but at this point, they're All Good!
On another note: Uof L won there game last night...I'm so glad:)! As we say here in Lou. KY. "GO Cards"...:)! Anybody else rooting for any particular team?

I hope Hejun or Deandre go next week....stay in your corner Sylvia until after the vote!!!!!!!!!! LOL After all the other 2 saves have gone and the last save was Deandre....but arrogant Hejun must go first and then Deandre. Just my most humble opinion...lol So one more week in the corner Wee One :)

Yes, I like Philip and Erika also, really they are all good, except Hejun. And sorry Sylvia I am not a big Deande fan. I was not ready for Erika to go yet. I do wonder about Hejun, check out VoteForTheWorst.com. Terrible website has been up and running for about 5 years at least. the idea is to call in and vote for the worst one. The site claims they kept Sanjia in as long as he was due to their website. I don't know if enough people could actually be doing this or not but what do you guys think?

I have heard of that site Joy :/ They have already chosen Heejun as their singer. He seems to have humbled a bit tonight but too late for me. He does have a good voice but attitude also counts. I don't get DeAndre at all either! Some notes tonight were good but I am NOT a fan of all that falsetto sound. His hair flipping has to go also. Hollie was good and I missed Colton's performance. See what the rest of the night brings :)

Heejun is trying to be sincere now, and he can sing but he's just not that good IMO. Deandre has a voice and a great range, but he is just all over the place or he's all up there in the high falsetto notes for the whole song. I just don't get him, not my style. Hollie was good, but she's been better. Most of them were really really good tonight. Colton, Joshua, Jessica all amazing. Skyler very good, although she is not one of my favorites. I really liked Phillip tonight more than I usually do! And wow to Elise!!!! For anyone to sing Robert Plant and do it well is very rare especially for a female. Only other female I think can do it well is Heart, well Elise was great......I love her.
