As you can see Michael is again playing in this tournament and the schedule of play is as follows:-

3M Celebrity Challenge Competition will take place on Wednesday, 8th February, and will be competed for over 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 17th and 18th holes and then from Thursday, 9th February until Sunday, 12th February the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Final Rounds will take place and I am sure I can speak for us all in wishing Michael all the very, very best in the competition and in hoping that he thoroughly enjoys his rounds of golf and that too he has as much success as he did last year in the 3M Celebrity Challenge Competition when the following picture was taken after Michael had holed the winning putt:-

NIce picture, sooo serious, I'm glad he's doing well! Too bad I have to work, which only means I can't watch any of this............so thanks for letting me in on "The Scoop"!!! If it's really bad weather I doubt if he will Chance getting sick, because for him The Show Must Go On:)!

Mary (M&M's)!

Just the one round to go today and then we will know if Michael qualifies for the Final tomorrow but somehow I doubt it....on the 10th yesterday they stood a chance but it slipped through their fingers for it is the best 60 professional players that go through with the best 25 pro-am teams qualifying;  Michael and Garth had pulled themselves up to equal 30th but, as I say, it slipped away and they have a mountain to climb today and I do not think it is possible over 18 holes unless they were to get holes in one at every hole .....now that would go down in the record books !!!!! LOL.   Wonder if anyone has ever done that on any golf course in the world......there is a question we could ask Michael and maybe get him into this thread......told you I never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. LOL. LOL.

Final scores in for 2nd Round and okay maybe if it started raining can forgive them a little, but I do not know what that pair started playing at after the 10th hole .....too much carry-on I bet and not enough concentrating on the golf  for Michael has finished with a 73 (1) after being -5 and Garth has finished with a 74 (3) after being -3.......they need a serious talking to tonight and as they say Michael had better not give up the day job !!!!! LOL.

SYLVIA,

           YOU ARE VERY WELCOME SYLVIA.............SMILE

To let everyone know who is following golf that today is 3rd Round day and Michael and Garth tee-off at 10.12 a.m. on the MPCC Shore Course and the weather for today is supposed to be cloudy a.m. with sun breaking through in afternoon and temperature is 53 F and it is considered good weather for golf.   Michael finished yesterday's round par for the course with a 72 which gives him overall a 141 score on -3 and to let you all know Kenny G is doing pretty well as he finished yesterday's round with a 68 which gives him overall a 131 score on -11 ......look as though he stands a good chance of making the cut if he plays as well today !! :)    In the Pro-Am Competition it is Padraig Harrington and J.P. McManus that are leading the field.

It was also reported about yesterday's rain in the afternoon and little shots I have seen it looked awful more like a good "scot's mist" rolling in and it was said that because the weather had been so good in the morning that a lot of the players were caught out and hadn't brought their wet gear so possibly that is what happened with Michael and Garth and knocked them for six ......saw a shot of Bill Murray and he had got caught and although he was laughing he was soaked to the skin !! :)

Thanks for keeping us updated Sylvia. Are you just checking the site with highlights or are you actually watching this? Just curious. Take care sweetie and thanks again. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

No unfortunately Sylvie I can't watch it.....can't find it anywhere so I am just in and out of all the different sites and watching videos on them and checking the live scoreboards all the time....in other words dancing about the internet !!!   It is sport all day to day for the Six Nations Rugby Tournament is just about to start and it is Italy against England in Rome and there is snow on the ground....something you don't expect to see in Italy, certainly not in Rome !!!! LOL.

Here is a little article I found published in the Scotsman Newspaper in their Sports Section -

Published on Friday 10 February 2012 00:00

THIS week’s Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is America’s answer to Scotland’s Dunhill Links Championship – an event which throws top golfers and celebrities into competition together.

Padraig Harrington will again be partnered by Irish racehorse owner JP McManus, while madcap American film star Bill  Murray is a regular and won alongside professional DA Points last year. Tiger Woods will partner Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and other celebs include Michael Bolton, Chris O’Donnell, Andy Garcia and Don Cheadle.

Thank you Silvia, for all the info and pics.

Eva

Thanks for that photo Eva and I have never seen that one......do you know when it was taken and where for it does look pretty up-to-date but the layout of the place, for a golf course, looks strange  ???? :)
