I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.

You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why. Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed. The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates. Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!

Hey Joy, If he comes to the Casino in Indiana, I do know some high rollers, that would take me with them:)! Here's hoping:)! And another thing about this is that they don't get excited like we do!!! They have the tickets & go then go gamble!!! Must be nice:)!
Call them for sure!!!
Mary (meg's mom)!
Joy, I feel your pain. Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS does the exact same thing! I wait and call literally the minute tickets go on sale and can never get anything but terrace seats. None of the floor seats are ever available. That is why I was so happy last year when Michael went to the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi---they actually let the fans have a crack at front row seats. BR is greedy and blocks all the floor seats for VIPs and High Rollers. That's why I'm so disappointed that Michael decided to go back to BR this spring instead of HR. :-(
This stuff is why I don't like casino's in general as much as other theatre type venues. They have their memberships and stuff too but it's not as unfair as the casino's have always been catering to their high rollers etc...It's been that way ever since I can remember going to see MB over the years. Sometimes you get a crack at the front, sometimes not like this time around at Harrah's in A City. The true fans have no chance and the drunk patrons of a casino could care less who is on stage..I've seen that too, it's a shame..
I hope Harrah's opens up some good seats closer to the show date.
Robin in MD:)
Calling can't hurt but you have to remember it is a business and they are trying to bring in and back their high rollers and those buying the packages with the concert ticket included and what is left they let the public have. All Casinos are the same...just about. As time goes by and the packages aren't all sold they may place those seats back into the group to be sold...they don't want them empty so keep watch so if this happens you can grab them.
Thanks Gail,
Yes I understand this, still very annoyed. Will keep checking for seat openings.

Kathy T,
We will talk more! Thanks

Hi Robin,
Last year we did fine, 2nd row. This was so disappointing! And that explains the wacko from last year, a woman in the front row yacking on her cell phone during the show. I couldn't believe it. Michael actually very nicely and tactfully embarrassed her about it and she left!
