MICHAEL Bolton will appear at a private and exclusive party at the Point Piper home of Aussie Home Loans boss John Symond on Friday night after Symond donated $50,000 to ensure the charity event could go ahead.
Symond is opening his house free of charge after entering into a partnership with Bolton's tour promoter Andrew McManus and helping to organise a charity night which will benefit The Children's Hospital, Westmead.
With guests forking out a rich $1500 per head to see the American singer/songwriter in an intimate setting, Symond will put to use an architecturally-designed stage and entertainment area - part of his original Point Piper house design - to entertain the 150 special guests attending on the night.
Snapping up tickets this week were members of the finance community as well as Channel 7 executive Bruce McWilliam and wife Nicky, retailer Peter Satouris of Peter's of Kensington fame, ANZ NSW chair Warwick Smith and Roosters boss Nick Politis.
As well as an evening of fine wine and food and unequalled views of Sydney's waterfront, guests will also be privy to an exclusive look inside Symond's incredible $50 million mansion.
Symond designed the lavish home with charity performances in mind and an entire floor is dedicated to the live performance experience with a stage area and bar set aside.
