Hi Scott and welcome to the forum. Well first, congratulations on your second row seats! Now, have you checked with the promoter to find out if there were VIP packages? They do have them for the U.K. tour next year. Since the beginning of 2013, Michael was apparently announcing on stage during the concert, whether he was doing book or CD signings. You could also check with the venue, because something might already be set up. It’s also possible to buy Meet & Greets from the Michael Bolton Charities, but those are costly. You can also state your case to Gail, our forum moderator at the address: boltoninfo@aol.com and she’ll forward your request to his office. I’m not sure when your concert is Scott, but fans have been known to wait for him after the concert, but if it’s cold outside, meetings by the limo are much quicker and photo ops are sketchy at best. You might also want to check with your local radio stations that play Michael’s music, to see if they offer M&G’s. I hope that helps. :D BTW, will this be yours or your partner’s first concert? Just curious. We have an entire discussion thread dedicated to concert reviews, concert pics, videos etc, if you feel like checking it out, or if you feel like sharing about it after the concert, let us know. :D Good luck to you Scott and you and your partner have a fabulous time! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada

Bonjour Sylvie! I was wondering if there would be a meet and greet for Michael Bolton at his upcoming Montreal show? I tried searching for VIP packages, but with not much success. My younger sister and I are going, and it would mean the world to us to meet him (like most fans I'm sure!)! I don't mind waiting outside after a concert to meet an artist/band as I have done in the past, but with my experience, it's not always a guarantee! Understandably, because some of them are too tired after the show! :D It would be nice though not having to wait outside, especially that our winters are so freezing cold in February!

Thank you!

Salut Kristel, nice to meet someone from Montreal! :D Well, one of my friends told me he was searching for VIP packages from the promoter for his wife but they’re not available from them. However, the info I’ve given Scott goes for any concert. Write to Gail at boltoninfo@aol.com and tell her why you want to meet Michael, towards the end of January and she’ll forward your request to his office. I’ll try my luck too. :D The thing is, some VIP packages might be sold through Michael Bolton Charities, but they’re costly. Michael apparently receives  tons of requests, but he only has so much time. I’ve been told that when there’s a merchandise table, it’s possible to buy items and get them signed, if Michael announces it. In ’09, they didn’t have the darn table, though they did in ’98, when he was at the Bell Center. XP Phew, that was a long time ago... Well anyway, let’s hope for the best. Will this be yours or your sister’s first concert? I’m going with my daughter and it’ll be her first. I can’t wait: 45 days and counting! XD Yes I know waiting out isn’t a guarantee, been there, done that. It’s too cold in Feb and in Montreal for Michael to stop outside and sign stuff, never mind anything else. Well I hope that helps Kristel, good luck to you sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

Hi Sylvie! LOL definitely nice to meet a fellow MB fan from Quebec! Thanks so much for your reply! It's great that you'll be going with your daughter! I'm sure you both will have wonderful memories to cherish from that evening years from now!

It'll be our first concert as well. Our mom who was a huge fan introduced us to him by playing his albums on repeat EVERY WEEKEND. It drove us nuts as children, but when we turned teenagers, we suddenly couldn't get enough of Michael! Our mom unfortunately passed away a few years ago and we wish we could've gone on this show with her. I guess this is why this concert means so much -- it's not just the experience of seeing your favorite artist live, but also getting back a piece of someone you've loved and lost through music -- even if it's only temporary! Don't know if that makes sense! LOL

Anyways, thank you so much for your sweet words and your kindness! I'll definitely e-mail Gail! Let's keep our fingers crossed that we can both take our pictures with him!

xox Kristel

Hi again Kristel, OMG girl, thanks for sharing your story, I love it! I’m sorry for your loss sweetie, but I can definitely identify with driving my kids nuts playing Michael too much! Lol Kristel, it makes all the sense in the world and I can tell it’s gonna be an emotional but fabulous time for you and your sister and I’m sure your mom will be there in spirit too, good luck to you both sweetie, take care. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

Hi Kristel and so glad you are going to see Michael....terrific !!! :)

Understand perfectly what you mean about your mum/mom for I am in exactly the same boat.  My mother was as big a fan as I am and we never had opportunity to go and see MB and when he plays in Cardiff on 6th May that will be my first show and I know my mum will be with me.  It means as much to me going to Cardiff as to my home town of Glasgow for my mother and I spent many a beautiful holiday in Wales, of which Cardiff is the capital, so I had to get there, not only because it is MB's first stop in his tour of the UK, but because of those old sentimental reasons too.....think I had better take a box of tissues with me.....LOL

Wishing you a wonderful concert Kristel !!! :)

Hi Sylvia,

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I merely created an account to ask a question to Sylvie, and I didn't expect to be welcomed with open arms in MB's online community! I'm sorry to hear about your mum -- I definitely suggest bringing a box of tissues out of awe of seeing and hearing MB live and for those same sentimental reasons you mentioned. I`d most likely be doing the same thing to tell you the truth - On a brighter note, I'm pretty sure your mum will have the best seat than anyone else in the house! :) Sending you a hug from Canada, Kristel

Thanks Kristel and hope you will stay around and enjoy everything on here, even if, as just a lurker !! :)

Wishing you a wonderful Hogmanay, New Year's eve, and when it comes hope 2014 proves to be best year yet for you!!! :)
