Hi Lorie with an E, what a beautifully florid, eloquently put and purely buyist article, I couldn’t have written it better myself! :D But tell me, did you have a good time? :D I must say, you seemed to have put a lot of time and effort in writing this and we rarely get such wordy displays of writing talent, thank you very much for sharing! Sounds like your evening was everything you wanted it to be, I’m happy for you. Take care and please feel free to share some more in the future! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Joy, I'm behind but cool you're from the Jersey shores. I've been there to NJ many times as I used to live in Maryland.

First, I must say, judging by your truly incredible Valentine's Day experience, I am sure you still must be flying. I so enjoyed reading about all the happiness Michael brought to you. Michael has touched your life in a special way only you can feel and describe. Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience on the forum review thread where we all are journalists in our own write. Thank you also for your kind and flattering comments. Keep flying!

Thanks Lorie, I appreciate your comments. I'm not at all good in writing. Where are you located? Don't need to give the city--what State?

Hello ladies and gents.....well what a night!! I will try my best to stay in order of events...because there were soooo many. It was a night of musical chairs and security duels of which I have never encountered!!! LOL Did I give up???....NO!!! :) Thank you Robin R for the setlist because that I would have definitely messed up. Ok...I have my coffee now in a thermos....not my usual cup.... because this will take a bit of time. Are you all comfy?? Here we go....
Our arrival time was excellent! A miracle that California traffic was light going into Studio City. Maybe this is a good sign....lol Since we got there early we had time to cruise on over to the Hard Rock Cafe and peek in to see if Robin R was there. We found her and introduced ourselves and met Robin Md. and Robin R's friend as well. Robin R was expecting me but I think her friend was a bit surprised!! :) Like...Robin R.. who knows you are here?!!! BB's can show up anywhere...right? lol We told them to enjoy their dinner and we would see them soon. Bob and I bought some coffee and then we went to find Little Pam. Another long time fan who stands a whole 4'7'...hence Little Pam :) Found her and so now we are 2 for 2. Made all our connections!
The 3 of us proceed into the amphitheater after a 20 minute wait in line. I walk Pam to her seat and note that she is 2 seats from the aisle...critical for future use! lol We then go find our seats. GREAT seats in the front row pit. I look around for Robin R and she is directly behind us just outside the pit. Ok....so we are set now for the upcoming musical chair routine. Everyone is in their place and ready for all heck to break loose when I give the signal..LOL Planning is crucial to a good time ;) I also see Carole and her sister in the front row. Robin Md.s friend is a few rows back.
Kenny G opens and he is wonderful! He has a percussionist that is out of this world....my goodness...he was amazing!!! Kenny had a raffle of sorts if you bought 2 souvenir items you received a ticket for a drawing for a free saxophone that Kenny designs!! Kenny G also made an announcement that he would be out front in the lobby after the concert to sign cd's for all interested fans. MICHAEL TAKE NOTE!!! :) Now wouldn't we all ENJOY Michael doing that??? Lets hope.....one day :) The lucky winner was brought on stage for a photo with Kenny. Oh how I starting dreaming...what if Michael....? Then I snapped out of it!!! LOL All of a sudden the man next to Bob bounds out of his seat and yells to the guy behind him.."I didn't come to this concert to listen to you talk all night!!" Bob and I look at each other...talk all night? Who was talking? Then he says...lets take it outside and beckons him to FIGHT!!! What the heck??? This is Valentine's Day....love and roses! Yipes. He finally walks away and Bob chats with the guy in back and then informs the WONDERFUL security to keep an eye on HIM. Maybe that was our mistake..lol I told the guy behind us if he causes any problems while Michael performs he and I will take it outside!! LOL Scene 1 is over...more to follow....
Now it is time for our Michael!! And who appears again? The muscle head who wanted to fight earlier! Bob tells him I hope you are under control and they exchanged a few pleasant words. I told Bob to be careful because another punch to his head and he is history since he is still recovering. Yipes! This is too much! Lots of stage deconstructing and reconstructing. The lights go down and on comes Go the Distance and we are on for Michael's great voice! I won't repeat the songs because I can't remember the order :/ A couple of songs stand out and I will include them where appropriate. He looks great if not a tad bit tired. All that golf playing...but when you work hard you play hard! Enjoying the show and waiting for our "moment" :) Michael is singing great and is in a jovial mood. WAMLAW starts and we all get ready. Where is everyone??? No one joins Pam and I at the stage except the lady next to me from Chicago. Oh well...we are comfy. I do think it was a very laid back group for Kenny G. A little too laid back...no one moved!! I gave Michael my customary LAFD t-shirt and he smiled and took it. I also attached an adorable pink LAFD onesie for baby Millie and Michael read that on the shirt. His smile grew :) Pam gave him a Valentine cupcake and Chicago gal gave him a rose. It was funny because no one else was at the stage but us 3 and we each had a gift for Michael!!! Oh boy...here comes security...we stayed too long at the stage according to security. Ok....the battle is on!! We banter with them and let them carry on as we IGNORE them..lol....but we finally sit down because the night is young ;) Of course we return...lol...I yelled out to Michael for help because Pam and I have been TELLING the security that being at the stage is routine!! He couldn't hear me :/ Upon my second arrival to the stage I see Pam and Robin R getting stopped before they make it to the stage. OH NO THEY WON'T stop my friends!! I swoop over to meet them by dodging around an ENORMOUS security person and I take Robin R to the stage with Little Pam close behind and Michael is watching all this!!!!! Poor guy...what does he think?...until he recognizes all 3 of us!!! The 3 stooges I tell you!!! Anyway....we finally reach the stage and I hold up Robin's hand for the fabulous handshake....she gets his hand and she WON'T let go!! LOL I gently pull back Robin's hand and remind her to let go. She laughs and said she didn't want to. Who does? We overstay our welcome at the stage AGAIN. Here come the security AGAIN!!! We returned to our seats after more banter and now Pam has had enough and she is ready to bite some ankles off!! LOL She is a site to behold! DO NOT interfere with her and the stage. Bless her. Security says you have given your gifts...now get! NO NO NO.....we return once more!!!! Getting a little tired now!! Poor Robin...I think she got her exercise! This was like a Catholic wedding....up and down..up and down. Am I fit....NO. Kenny G and Michael have just started Georgia out in the crowd and we start our move AGAIN. We all kept going and FINALLY the crowd arrives at the stage. I should have yelled fire!! Michael exits the stage as if to end the concert but the lights stay dim so you know what happens next. A little encore :) Well....a young lady felt bad I guess because she had no gift for Michael...so she decides to REMOVE her panties!!!! OMG!!! This can't be happening!! This is Valentine's Day....you know...love and roses. I might add Bob enjoyed the "show".....oh my!! He couldn't believe it because we have been to soooooo many of Michael's shows and never has this happened. Oh my. This will be a fire station story to tell when he returns to work! LOL I guess Bob will continue to come with me to concerts for now on!!! This young lady throws her USED thong on the stage and Michael DOESN't see it. She takes it back and WAITS for a "good" moment. She throws it out again and Michael is singing...he sees it...and you could tell he is deciding whether to acknowledge their presence or not....lol..and then Michael picks "it" up and looks at the thong and the crowd roars!! If he only knew they were USED!! Maybe he does....it's a guy thing I guess...LOL Oh my. The young lady acknowledged they were hers and the show almost ended on that note :/ Michael calls out for Kenny G and they do Lean on Me together. During all this "thong chaos" we realized Robin wasn't with us and so Bob went to go get her and I saved our spot. Bob finds Robin crying and brings her to the stage with us where she continues to cry.....ahhhhhh. She said to ignore her but that the song means a lot to her. And soooooo on that note the show ends!! :) An incredible night to say the least and one I won't soon forget! LOL
