You would like the T-shirt that I made and that I wore in 2009 when I met Michael. He thought it was really funny becuase he knows how much I also love 'Rock me baby'. I nag him about it everytime I meet with him!!

He did tell me that he has recorded it for use on an album at some stage...but who knows when though?

 

 

 

And here I am wearing it. This was on my first night of meeting Michael. I darent wear it the next night aswell as I thought he might think I hadnt washed it!! Ha Ha!!

I love the t-shirt!  Really, really cute and it looks nice on!  Even more special because you made it!  Thanks for sharing the photos!  Nice pic of the first time you met Michael.  What a special memory I'm sure.  How wonderful!  Your t-shirt beats my sign idea...     thanks.

Diane I hope you get to hear it too, ever since years back like we said that he started doing it, I've always loved it as the encore. I've been a fan of MB playing guitar forever and any chance he does I just love it...It's cool to see the old rocker side to MB and he plays it to the hilt.. I have been able to get some shots close up of him standing over me at the stage before and that's so neat..he is so talented.. He knows the majority of the fans love Rock Me, we've made enough noise here over the years and people yell it out... I mouthed it as he walked past me in Cleveland when he went off to do the encore.. We got lucky and he did it since we had a loud crowd with calling out stuff and yelling all night.. Made my night...LOL

 

He has had those antique pins for some time and he bought them at antique stores. Nothing personal that we've heard, he loves antiques and he likes them.  I think Gail explained this before on here when someone asked... 

 

YES Michael is using Facebook to put out info as he can reach so many more people that way these days and then everything is being brough to us here as well..  So it's best to keep an eye on FB and here as well as Twitter if you have an account there. He's got it all linked in between FB and Twitter, kinda cool I think. I ONLY Joined FB last year because of Michael..It's alot of fun.. He is sharing so much more of his progress and activities with this album than ever before.. Love him for that...

 

A week from tonight is the next concert-won't be long till we get more reviews!!!

I've been hearing about the pin(s). It seems to be neat. Yeah, Michael will be in portugal next week. Also, hope he got to rest up at home, saw his family, especially the little one.

Thanks for all the info.  I think I need to go to a Michael concert in another city with a rowdier crowd.  The Atlantic City folks aren't much for alot of noise or being loud.  It tends to be a much older group of fans so I haven't been able to hear much of an encore yet (none at all this year :(    .... last year we did get Georgia!)  I'm not giving up... one day I'll hear Rock Me Baby!

 

I love the pins!  It's just such a nice addition to his suit jacket and they really catch the light and sparkle!

 

I'm not on Twitter, only Facebook.  Even that I'm not active on really... only for Michael updates.  I probably do more here now.  It is nice to have Michael keeping us so informed with this new album.  It really helps build the interest.  Love that he's doing that.

 

I'm trying to talk my husband into taking me to the golf tournament in CT... so I can see Michael golf!  We'll see....  wish me luck!

Robin,

I too, have wondered about the pins he wears on his jackets.  Thanks for the info, any chance you or someone else has a close up of them?  Since you are so good with your picture taking and have a good camera, can you zoom in and crop any of your photos?  I think we'd all like to see them close up!

Hi Diane, about Facebook a/k/a “the dark side”, I personally feel, as Kathy does, that I don’t need to know what everyone is doing 24/7, but that’s just me. I’m sure it’s tons of fun and much information is readily available there. I find it hard enough keeping up with this site, try to stay connected with all my friends and stay in touch with all to do with Michael. I’m not saying I’ll never join, because they say “never say never”, but guess I’m comfortable here and I’m not that ambitious at the moment. JMO About Michael going on tour for “Gems”, I really don’t know because right now, he only has scattered dates scheduled for this summer and technically, his CD is scheduled for June. Michael also said in an interview last September that “I’m looking at two musicals Chicago and Phantom that I’ve been invited to come and star in and I want to move into that world. I’ve written a musical and I’m developing one that’s already been a film. So that’s another universe that I intend to explore fully and enjoy fully.” It’s a shame he hasn’t mentioned a time frame for those projects though. Also, this next October, we should finally see the new Xmas album come to life, so it’s hard to tell, considering what a crazy busy year he had last year. Well Diane, I hope you got all the info you wanted about Michael’s pin. He once told Regis Philbin that it was one of a kind. Well, that’s my 2 cents, take care sweetie. I hope, should Michael do these musicals that L. A. is included. I know ALW was back East, only, it seems.

 

I can't wait for the new Christmas CD either nor the new one but I'm realy anxious for a single solo CD of Michael's.
