Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!!  I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!

 

Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.

You all have made these threads fun in the past and I look forward to more adventures and fun this year!!

I look forward to reading everyone's reviews once again and also contributing some of my own in 2011!

Great memory Robin!! LOL I didn't want it to end either..that was a great week in good ol Baltimore!  He needs to records those songs he did during that show, they were wondeful.

I love the Broadway album idea!  I just can't picture him on Broadway... maybe just me.  I didn't know Michael toured with Andrew Lloyd Webber.  When was that?  It must've been amazing!

Diane, He did a tour with a group of wonderful young singers/dancers that had a show dedicated to the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.. MB was the guest star!! They did this in 2000.. We loved it, 8 shows here in Balto and I went to Cleveland and saw 2 more at the same venue I just saw him perform at 2 weeks ago..  LOVED IT!!!

I seem to remember that when Michael was on the UK TV show 'this morning' he mentioned that he was looking into doing something in the west end and but couldnt say anymore or he'd have to kill someone....or everyone!!

 

I didnt know if my mind is playing tricks on me so I checked with a friend of mine who said that she remembered this aswell.

 

This was the video clip that I just couldnt manage to get onto youtube. I have the whole interview on cd, I just cant get it to youtube. Its so annoying.

 

This link is just a small section of the interview, but doesnt mention the West End show in this part of the clip.

 

I'll have another go at getting it onto youtube in a day or so. I dont know why the This Morning programme only chose to post this much of the interview becasue there was atleast another 3 minutes after this clip ends.

Jenn you are right ,i remember this .I was so delighted by the thoughts of Michael being in the west end.Lets hope it becomes a reality xx

It was in 2000, Dianne. He was in Baltimore june 13--18. Two shows were on Saturday&two on Sunday. It was totally awesome. Different that's for sure but Michael is versital.

He didn't tour with Andrew Lloyd Webb. They did his songs.

Yes alot of them were back here I think and out like Cleveland and I forget where else..We had tix for some Philly shows but they were canceled and Kathy and I got tix to go to Cleveland last minute and off we went!!! Was a blast!! Made up for those 2 shows we had tix for that had been cancelled.. A friend of mine saw a bunch of them in Boston that tour too..

 I remember buying tix last minute at lunch one day by phone for myself and all my friend that were coming to Balto and I had to go down to the venue box office company and pick them up. I looked like a darned Ticketmaster Broker..We had great center section seats down front for all fo them and we just rotated seats for the 8 shows and I had extras then as one gal didn't want them all and I sold some to my mom and others at the time...It was wild!!  What fun tho!!LOL

I remember my friend Trisha from NC, she had 4 tickets to go to the ALW tour and she couldn't so, I sold them for her. My friend Paula, Vanessa, Charlotte or (Char) from TX&my sister got those 4&I think I even had a ticket for Miss Shirley for Thursday night that my friend couldn't go on. So, it all worked out. I knoww Miss Shirley was at 2 shows, I think&your friend Donna.
