Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!!  I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!

 

Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.

You all have made these threads fun in the past and I look forward to more adventures and fun this year!!

I posted yesterday that outside the venue there were people with tickets for with the same date (May 26) for Jethro Tull and the venue isn't big ( capacity for 2500 or less), when ever he has come it has been at the Auditorio Nacional, and is a venue, don't remember if its for 8000 or 10000, and Michael has allway filled the place, so I think they where sold out.

Also someone mention that one of them (they didn't know if it was Michael or Jethro Tull) that wanted a bigger place, I called Ticketmaster and told me that I have to go to the venue, because I bought my ticket there, and at the venu they don't answered, so I think I have to wait till monday.

Gail, Michael isn't sick is he. He hates canceling concerts! I wonder why they would cancel a concert! xx

As far as I know Michael is fine.  I don't know why and if it was cancelled as management hasn't given me a confirmed answer but if you check ticketmaster you will see the concert for today at Blue in Mexico City is cancelled too so maybe it has something to do with the venue or promoters...I just don't know.  Gail

I checked his FB page. The two concerts in Mexico are not listed in events.

Hi!!!!!

I haven't been here a lot, but cheked the 23 and the show was going on, I went to the concert and find that it was cancel, but the venue has no notification or some telling something, it was closed, but there were people outside with ticket for a Jethro Tull concert with the same date, although I think it was ticketmaster fault, because the venue had Jethro Tull booked for may 24, and don't know why they didn't notify, because when I bought the tickets at the venue and they asked my phone number in case there were a complication or a change, and don't know when ticket master put the cancel note, because somebody that was waiting outside said that there was no notification at ticketmaster web page.

I'm a little disapointed, but have hope that they re-schedule the concert; do you know someting Gail???

So sorry to hear about your obvious disappointment at Michael's concert being cancelled but it does sound as though there has been a complete mix-up with dates because we had Michael playing Mexico City on 26th May and Peubla on 28th May whereas you are mentioning 24th May and on that date he played Lima in Peru - something, somewhere not right !!!!! :)

Do hope Michael can reschedule and no wonder he didn't look too happy at the airport leaving Peru on 25th May !! :)

I agree. Hope, Edith, that you'll have a rescheduled concert. Perhaps folks I need to keep my mouth shut. I've worked 30 some years of my life&corporate well, they say if you can't say anything nice than don't say anything at all. grrrr :( Boltonnut from L. A. No I say that Michael was schedule for may 26 and Jethro for may 24, but there were some guys that had tickets for Jethro with the date  may 26
