Oh Mary Van Winkle, have you been sleeping too long? :D Yeah girl, "Turtleneck and chain" is nominated for best comedy album! I always watch the Grammys, no matter how out of the loop I am with contemporary music... :D I especially enjoy the live performances. I can't say that I enjoy many of today's artists, mostly just songs, but i do know Bruno Mars is up for a few awards and I like him. I'm not sure if Gaga is nominated, she must be... Oh what am I thinking, we already saw The Grammy's, LOL:)! But the show that is going to be on this Sunday is "The Golden Globe Awards Show"

Hi Mary, the latest award show that was on was the People's Choice awards, I heard about it on the radio but didn't watch it. If I remember correctly, the American Music Awards were in November. Thanks Sylvie, I watch alot of Awards Shows, and I thought I had already saw  "The Grammy's"...BTW I am a True Blonde....LOL!!!

Hey Mary are you not getting it mixed up with the Emmy's where Michael did his performance with The Lonely Island and a whole load of the others off of the CD that was in November and that was where Michael had the nomination !! :)   It is 12th February when the Grammy's are on on CBS Mary.

Just to say have managed to find out what the video was recorded for and when and it was done in 2005 for TV and it was in aid of the American Red Cross and the Florida Hurricane Disaster Relief Fund and it was called "Musicians for Disaster Fund".   Michael is very well wrapped up Sylvie....now whether against cold conditions or feeling cold obviously do not know but he has on heavy jacket with what looks like a quilted style zipped jerkin underneath for you can see where it is open and lying over his collar and he also has a scarf wrapped round his neck which, actually as he is singing, he pulls on to loosen from his neck as obviously annoying him at the chin as his mouth moves.    I have to say it appears I was way out on date but I was in fact thinking of 06/07...... why I put in 96/97, I don't know for I had spotted no earring and of course that was the period he didn't wear it.......thank goodness he got back to being himself !!!! :)
