The latest song from musical comedy troupe Lonely Island, features legendary singer Michael Bolton whose alleged Jack Sparrow obsession ruins a fake rap band's otherwise serious song.
Comprised of Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg, Lonely Island is well known for its musical comedy and parodies of popular pop songs.
The video for Lonely Island's latest song - -"Jack Sparrow" (feat. Michael Bolton) - shows the boys pretending to be a hip-hop band recording a song with legendary songwriter Michael Bolton.
During the video American singer Michael Bolton enters the studio, mentions he has been watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, which famously stars Johnny Depp as the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow, and then proceeds to record the song.
The song begins with Lonely Island's lyrics increasingly parodying references to violence, women and 'street' culture often associated with hip-hop, before Michael Bolton appears, standing on a desert island, singing about Jack Sparrow.
Much to the annoyance of Lonely Island, Michael Bolton continues to interrupt the hip-hop song with references to the Pirates of the Caribbean films, singing backing lines such as 'Davey Jones' and 'giant squid.'
Micheal Bolton then goes on to reference 1994 film Forrest Gump and dress up as main characters from the films Erin Brockovich and Scarface.
As of 10am GMT May 9, the video had attracted 835,211 views after being uploaded on May 7, and, according to YouTube statistics is currently the "number one most discussed" comedy video in the world.

Michael Bolton -- the Jack Sparrow wannabeSinger Michael Bolton, who was characterized as a "no-talent ass clown" in the movie "Office Space," proved to be anything but that when he joined with Andy Samberg in the latest digital short on "Saturday Night Live." In fact, he revealed himself to be quite the movie fan, especially for the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.
You can watch him in all his glory below. Enjoy!
The tracklist to the Lonely Island’s upcoming sophomore release Turtleneck & Chain looks like one gigantic 19-track joke; which is good because, well, it’s actually supposed to be one gigantic 19-track joke. The comedy troupe, comprised of Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg, have taken on ridiculous levels of cheekiness for the new album, including many Saturday Night Live pieces ...and this new offering which debuted as an SNL Digital Short last night, “Jack Sparrow,” which features Michael Bolton. The premise: The Lonely Island crew is set to record a club-stopmer with Bolton; Bolton is obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean and takes things in an unexpected(ly hilarious) direction. “Turns out Michael Bolton is a major cinefile” is about all that can be given away without ruining it. Turtleneck & Chain will be released May 10 via Universal.

Comedic songsters The Lonely Island never cease to impress when it comes to how interesting their collaborations are. Just in time for the release of their sophomore album, Turtleneck and Chain, which comes out tomorrow, the trio has let loose the visuals to the track they did with none other than the legendary Michael Bolton. While the Saturday Night Live stars spend money and pick up girls in the club during the verses, Bolton takes the chorus in a different direction by creating an ode to Jack Sparrow - Johnny Depp's famed character from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. The video may leave you scratching your head, but it's sure to give you some laughs as well. "Jack Sparrow" made its premiere on SNL this past weekend, but is now available via the crew's YouTube channel. Check it out above!

Michael Bolton Sings About Jack Sparrow On 'Saturday Night Live'
Crooner Michael Bolton stole the show on Saturday Night Live this weekend, dressing up as Captain Jack Sparrow to film a hilarious music video.
The singer showed off his hidden talent as a comedian when he teamed up with funnyman Andy Samberg and his comedy rap group The Lonely Island for the digital short "Jack Sparrow," a tribute to Johnny Depp's character in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
The funny clip featured Bolton singing about his love for the Disney franchise, while he also appeared on a boat dressed head to toe in pirate gear, complete with Sparrow's signature red bandanna, heavy eyeliner and goatee. Bolton even went gangster as Tony Montana, portraying Al Pacino's Scarface character in another entertaining scene.
Please pay attention!! The following video has advertising before and directly after refering to MB they refer to a Sarah Palin parody!!!

Sorry, it happened again, even though I changed the color. The headline and link are already there, but you can't read it due to the color (blue). What irritates me is, that I could see the complete text (in black color!) as long as I was able to edit it.
