About a week ago I received a voice message from the San Diego Symphony stating that Michael Bolton had cancelled his performance for Sun., Sept. 12. I didn't think too much of it until I heard on the radio that he was performing at the Viejas Casino on Sun., Sept. 12. I called the Symphony and asked for an explanation. I was told that he cancelled because the booking was not as large as he had liked. I'm hoping someone here can give me a better explanation. I'm having a hard time understanding why he would decide to perform at a Casino about an hour east of San Diego than with the fabulous San Diego Symphony. If it's just a money thing, I think it really puts a damper on my opinion of this great vocalist.
Thank you.
