Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread.  The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Hi Guys, just a quick note here, I was told by Lynn Arnold, who went to last night's Beau Rivage show, that Michael did indeed sing Nessun Dorma. My luck, a week late, and a few dollars short. Lynn has promised to give an update when she returns to Atlanta today. She also mentioned, there was a eager fan that manage to rush the stage and climbed up on it, headed for Michael, but not before security escorted her out. Lol, wasn't me, I'm all snuggled in bed with a beautiful day outside suffering from a cold and losing my voice. Ughhh, should've gone to this last show. Talk to you soon, maybe haha. Have a great day!

Hi Karen, Thanks so much for letting us know what Lynn said. Yippeee, if he is back to singing Nessun Dorma he must really be feeling ok now!! That's fantastic. The last show he sang it was ours here in DE last month!    OMG the security had a job to do!!LOL It's been quite a few years since I've seen that happen.. Wow!!!

Feel better Karen..thanks for sharing...Looking forward to hearing more from Lynn once she's home..

Thanks for coming in Karen and I bet MB enjoyed seeing the "girl" leaping on the stage....just what he needs for his ego and to give him a good boost that he knows for sure he is still a superstar and has total control of that audience !!! :)

Hope you are feeling better soon.....as I keep telling people a good strong wee toady that's what you need;  the hot water, sugar and whisky but just remember, don't put too much water in it though, spoils the whisky.......LOL

See, Karen & everyone, it's fans like that that can mess it up for the rest of it. I understand assertiveness but not aggressiveness. Pardon my views here girls but really? Serious? I understand she wants to meet him but she can causes it to be messed up for her&others. Here, a security guard had to go after her. She only made a full out of herself or being embarrassed. Oops. I do understand but really. Pardon my views

Back from the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, one of my favorite places in the world. Got there Thursday night, quiet evening til I won MONEY! WOO HOO! Nice start to my solo adventure :) Spoke with Jason on Friday early afternoon, he said they were all happy to have had a couple of days off, and he was headed to soak up some sun. Beautiful weather, hopefully MB got some golf in :) Had second row seat, on the far right end, no seat in front of me, nice!! The crowd was fired up, all ages having fun. MB looked and sounded great. He started off with Soul Provider, pretty much the same set list as the past few concerts, except that he added Nessun Dorma back. YES!! Crowd gave him standing ovation several times. Encore was Georgia (but of course, since a large portion of the audience was like me, probably from Ga). I sat next to 5 ladies about my age, true fans, they were so excited and loud, he was loving it. Security kept the audience from going all the way up to the stage after WAMLAW, but we were able to stand up and dance, and since my seat was right there it was easy :) Gotta love it. He came out on my side for WAMLAW and came right beside me on the way back to the stage, and the ladies beside me were about to knock me down to get to him. Since I shook his hand last week, I just squished up and let them reach for him all around me lol. Seeing him looking at me eye to eye from a foot away will do just fine LOL!! The stage was very low, maybe a little less than waist high, almost at the end of the concert, he had his back to the audience and all of the sudden this lady ( I think she had been sitting front row) just crawled up on stage. She crawled hands and knees for a sec, then just stood up and was headed straight for him. People in the audience were yelling and security swooped in from the right side and grabbed her and snatched her offstage. MB was just shaking his head and laughing and he and the band never missed a beat. It was pretty funny but a little bit scary too. Too much liquid courage! One other funny thing, when people were yelling to him, as he sat down to do To love somebody, someone yelled WALMAW and he said "and what happens after that??" It was hilarious. He had some kind of issue with his guitar during Chicago, equipment guy had to come out on stage and switch cords while he was singing. Saw the band partying for Kelly's Bday in the club, hopefully they had a good night. Saw a bunch of them at the airport this am and either Drew or Ryan said he hadn't been to bed yet (they were in the crowd, I couldn't tell which one said it). So they must have had a good time lol. Love this venue so much. I hope Deborah will fill in what I missed, Oh yeah, one more thing,, the rowdy ladies next to me said they had been trying to get backstage passes and were not going to give up. When the show was over, a lady sitting in front of them turned around and handed them backstage passes. They were screaming and one of them started to cry. It was just awesome. They were so happy. Should know Monday what seats I get for Ga in July. Got the fever!!

Lynn

Hey Lynn, I felt the energy at your show reading your review!! OMG that woman getting on stage, wow....Yeah that had to be a little scary..Go MB and band never missing a beat...  I'm glad you had a great time and some fun folks sitting with you..It's always fun when MB comes by in the audience, love it!!!  Hey did anyone answer MB when he said "What happens after that?" LOL   I'm glad you could at least dance by where you were sitting if they didn't let you all go to the stage-despite that one crazy person that got ON stage!  That's the problem, people like that make it harder for us to go that just want to stand AT the stage and dance later on in the show!!  I guess the casino people had comp passes and didn't even want them.that was very cool!!!

So glad you had a blast.. Good luck on yor tickets for July. I have had the fever to since Feb and am excited to have a show end of May in PA and still hoping Bethesda gets rescheduled!!

Thanks for coming in and posting Lynn!! Great review!!!

Robin in MD:)

I couldn't hear all the stuff being yelled at MB at the time but that was pretty funny. He thinks a lot faster than I would lol. And I'm thinking that those backstage passes that were given to the ladies near me must have been from the people with the drunk lady...wow...Got my tix for July, it's a table down front!! WOO HOO!!. It's a setup like Chastain and I got table R which is essentially second row on the left side. Looks like the tables are kind of staggered so there really isn't one between our table second row and the stage Nice. I am so looking forward to it!! Good luck with Bethesda getting rescheduled! Hope you hear something soon!

Lynn

Way to go Lynn.. Great table..I am happy for you. We have front row for Bethlehem at least if Bethesda not rescheduled.
So glad you have another one. I remember Chastain in summer. Hot but fun time!!

Hi Lynn, thanks for your terrific review!  I know the audience in Biloxi is really vocal, so it's all good and fun for everyone. It's also fantastic to hear Michael has put "Nessun dorma"  back in the setlist! Thanks so much for sharing Lynn, take care. hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

Lynn, that's ever so much for your review. Wow! sorry about the guitar difficulties MB had though. wow to those 5 folks getting the backstage pass. It was meant to be. Neat Michael sang Nesum Dorma. (pardon spelling). Yay for Georgia his singing Georgia. I know how you really enjoy last night's venue as you've been there before & Karen, get well soon, ok?

Thanks for a great review Lynn and so glad you had a good seat and a fantastic time....so pleased for you !!! :)   I bet MB enjoyed every single solitary moment of that concert including the lady on the stage.....yeah, wait till I jump up on the stage in Glasgow;  look out Michael for I'm bringing my step ladders with me to make it possible for that is only way I would ever get on a stage even if it was only waist high for don't think I could even crawl up that far...the joys of getting old !!!!!! LOL

Thanks again for a super review !!! :)
