Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Hi Nick and welcome to the forum. Great to hear both you and your wife enjoyed the show! We love to hear this kind of positive feedback, especially from people who weren’t “converted” before... :D I think you’re either the 3rd or 4th person who’s mentioned missing “Soul provider” on this tour, but as I was telling another fan, you were very fortunate to get “Can I touch you... there”, which Michael doesn’t sing often, especially not on this side of the pond. We all have our favourites and if Michael sang them all, we wouldn’t have enough of a 3 hour concert! :D I’m sorry your wife couldn’t get a T-shirt and unfortunately, this site doesn’t sell merchandise yet. Nick, we definitely appreciate you coming in and sharing your views on the show and you should tell your wife she should join in too! My husband enjoys Michael's music too, so you're not alone... :D In any case, thanks again for sharing Nick, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Hi Nick & welcome to the forum. Loved your review & cool both you & your wife enjoyed the show. Diddo on what all Sylvie & everyone else has said. H
Welcome to the mad house...uh, forum, Nick. Glad to hear you have been converted. I've been trying for more than 20 years with my husband; absolutely no chance! I know en masse the female fans can be a bit daunting, but there are a lot more men in the audience than there used to be, and some too in the Meet and Greet. The atmosphere at live shows is like nothing else, and Michael always delivers.
A few years ago, I met up with a single young man called Jonathan from the Brighton area at a TV taping in London, having made him welcome in the forum of the time. He was really into Michael's music, as a musician himself. Several years later, we met up again at a Brighton concert, and he introduced me to his wife, whom he was busily converting! And so the family grows...
Apart from loving the music, and the man, we do all have a lot of fun. So don't be shy of being a regular visitor here, or saying hi when you see us. Over the years, Michael has been slammed by the press, and being a fan was seen as something you did not admit to. Times have changed, Michael is now getting the respect he deserves in public (taking part in shows like The Buzzcocks has definitely helped; he's not afraid to send himself up), he has certainly "gone the distance" in his career.

Hi Margaret, loved your comment to Nick, thanks so much for sharing! Sorry to hear you couldn't convert your husband, but not everyone is open to our Michael's magic. It's funny how I've noticed that musically -inclined males seem fascinated by his artistry... Well anyway, I wish you to be able to convert either a family member or friend. Take care sweetie and thanks for the smile. :D Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Hi Sylvie
Not worried about converting Mr H at all, we remain happily married (36 years next month) and he is very supportive to my doing my own thing, when it comes to Michael, because he knows the pleasure it gives me to do that. As to other "conversions", over the years several workmates have accompanied me, to Rochester and the RAH, and have become caught up in the moment, definitely; you are right when you say "magic", because I have had so many magical Michael Moments. And I hope to have many, many more.
Best wishes

Hi again Margaret, well first, a huge congratulations on your anniversary! As long as our hubbies respect and support our passions, it’s all good. :D I haven’t been able to take anyone along, but I’ve always been a “music pusher” and will introduce Michael’s music to anyone who’ll listen. I wish us all many more special MB moments. Take care Margaret and thanks again for sharing. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
