Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Hallo Christine, yes sweetie, it had been posted by Joy in the "Miscellany" thread and I posted it in the "Canadian fans" thread, but obviously, some fans hadn't read it so it's all good! Besides, it is a great article, mentionning how Michael loves Canada, Montreal and his fans so it's worth reposting. :D Take care sweetie. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
Hi all, I just wanted to let you know that I’ve heard from Patience who went to the Mississauga concert. She said she’s still floating from Tuesday’s show, which is helping her with some long work hours. She said she should write a review on the weekend, but that the concert was delicious and Michael did perform with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and it was heavenly! Wow, can’t wait to hear the rest! :D Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
Sylvie-Thanks for posting for Patience. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest also!!!

Just got home from seeing Michael at Centre in the Square in Kitchener. I sat front row - for the first time ever at one of his concerts. I was in awe for most of the concert. I could see every little movement he made, every facial expression - I was in heaven. He was Amazing as always - joked with the fans, at one point someone yelled they loved him - he said what - and nobody said anything so I yelled it out then he made me yell it again! He came out for an encore but the show was over way too soon - I could listen to him all night! As he left the stage I jumped up and yelled his name - he came over and shook my hand and thanked me for being there!! As they began to break the stage down I asked a guy for the set list and he gave it to me! What a perfect perfect night! Only one thing could have made it better and that would have been actually getting a photo with Michael! What an Amazing night!
Hello Megan. Thank you for your amazing report.
It's nice to keep Michaels hand, right?
I wish you much fun on your Bolton cloud!

Hi Megan and great to see you out here and so will say WELCOME to the forum and so, so glad to hear you had such a wonderful concert.....terrific !!! :) On the "I love you" and Michael making everyone repeat it he did that too in the UK and then joked that he had heard it first time but he just loved to hear those words and sounds as though your response was indeed a hit with Michael for as he always says, he and band feed off the audience, therefore, if the audience don't give, then how can they !!! Believe symphony orchestra loved playing too by the picture they posted on Twitter and their tweet for not often you get such a wonderful pic as that one is.
Again Megan, so glad you had such a great time and thanks for coming in and sharing it with us......thanks !!! :)

Hiya Megan and welcome to the forum, great to meet another Canadian fan! Glad you enjoyed your first row experience and you loved the show so much! May I ask how long you’ve been a fan? Ahh, so cool you got to shake his hand, was this the first time and did the fans rush the stage after “When a man loves a woman”? I’d love to know what it was like to listen to Michael with the orchestra... Did they back Michael up on each and every song? Now since you have the setlist, could you share it with us? We’re wondering how the setlist changes with different countries and especially with an orchestra accompaniment. :D Well anyway, thanks ever so much for your glowing review Megan, I hope you stick around. If you need help navigating the forum or have any questions, let us know. Again, great to meet you! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
I've been a fan for about 25 years - this is probably my 7th concert I've been to of Michael's. About 12 years ago I got a picture with Michael but it was after a concert, he was in his limo and I was standing beside it so we were close but so far away! Nobody rushed the stage at this concert which was probably the first time this didn't happen. The orchestra only backed up for a few songs throughout the night - not all of them. I have the set list at home (I'm at work right now) but I will post the songs - not a problem! This is my first time on a site like this - thanks for the welcome!!
Welcome Megan and that's awesome you had a great time at the show. Another long-time fan. So nice to have you here. I guess with the symphony no one would go stand at the stage after WAMLAW? It's a bummer but I understand. Some shows aren't set up for it. So glad you got to shake his hand!! Did he do Captain Jack Sparrow? It has been done more recently. I saw him last Friday in Bethlehem, PA and he sang it there!! Nothing like front row!! :) Thanks for sharing. Sometimes what is on the setlist is not exactly what they perform. MB then has choices off the setlist with how he wants to change up things, especially the encore. It is fun getting his copy from the show. I have a few here too from over the years. Way to go!!!

Hi Robin! The symphony was actually behind Michael and the band. I was about 3 feet from the stage - so super close (and exciting!). People could have gone to stand at the stage but the crowd was a bit older and maybe they were intimidated? Everyone always waits for someone to be the first to do something! Unfortunately he didn't play Jack Sparrow - which would have been awesome!! This is my first set list from anyone - I'm just amazed I remembered and got a chance to ask for it!
I understand the symphony was behind MB and the band. That's how he's done it prior times he's played with a symphony. I love MB's music with a symphony.. It adds so much to the songs!!! Beautiful...Yeah if you had an older crowd and no one went to the stage that is part of the reason. LOL We had a very loud and mixed crowd at the casino venue last Friday in Bethlehem so they did go to the stage... We all had a blast up there. MB hand squeezes and touches are the best!! :)
So glad you asked for MB's setlist too.. The crew will give it to you if you ask usually..Or a copy of any of them on stage, they are all the same..I saw a gal get MB's copy last week in PA. LOL
Fun stuff!!!
