Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread.  The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Michael Bolton, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who has sold more than 53 million albums and singles worldwide, will perform at the King Center on Sunday. With a new album (“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough: A Tribute to Hitsville”) and hits that cover decades of music’s very best, the show will be as unforgettable as Bolton’s signature voice.

Bolton has had eight studio albums rank in the Top Ten and has had nine No. 1 singles including “How am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “That’s What Love is All About,” “How can We be Lovers,” “Soul Provider” and more. His albums have covered everything from classical hits to R&B and his live concert spans decades of music.

Q: You have never been afraid to take risks and try different styles. Did you ever fear that doing so may cost you some of the core audience that were attracted to you in one genre of music?

A: Not really. I went into the classical realm when given the chance to perform with the late great Pavarotti, so I had to study Italian. It was televised to over 8 million viewers and it was both exciting and terrifying, but I fell in love with it. When I first told the record company what I was going to do they were nervous that I was going to go off and become an opera singer, but I picked the greatest hits of opera and made some great music. I then went from that to an R&B record. There was no way I was going to abandon music that I love and go off and be the fourth tenor, but the label was nervous. I consider everything I had done to be a part of my exploration of music and it taught me discipline. When I did the opera songs it opened me up and enriched me and gave me awareness. There are so many emotional movements in the songs, that is why they are worldwide hits that have stood the test of time. I’m not sure that is what the label wanted. I was signed at 16, didn’t have my first hit until I was 34, and now 18-something years later I am still going, so I knew something was right for me. I never live in fear. I have had a phenomenal run and the songs still resonate with people"

Sorry folks but for some reason I cannot copy and paste second page....just will not work !!! lol
