WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2016 MB TOUR REVIEW THREAD !!
Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!! This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Hi everyone, thought you may want to hear about tonight's show in Tarrytown! No Xmas songs even though it was billed as a Holiday and Hits show. He came out with his guitar and they did Stand by Me. To Love Somebody. Said I Loved You. You Don't Know Me. I've Got A Woman. That's Life. Home Sweet Chicago.
Then the Duet Speel with Sam, To Make You Feel My Love. How Am I Supposed To Live Without You. Ain't No Mountain. The Prayer.
He came out and did When a Man. How Can We Be Lovers. Steel Bars. Time Love and Tenderness and the oncore was Georgia.
He was in a really good mood. The woman that likes to yell "take it off" was there and Michael said "she's back!" And laughed. He remarked she's now part of the show. Lol. We were seated in the front row and he threw a guitar pick at my friend Elena but it bounced off her hair. She got down on the floor and was looking for the pick under her chair. Michael just stood there watching her and asked if everything was alright, you could see he was trying not to laugh. She just waved to him to keep going but he owed her one. He did laugh and said 3 songs into the show and he was already in debt. Lol BTW, he did throw Elena another pick and she caught that one.
We also had Xmas shirts made. When I get a chance, I'll post a picture. Michael saw them and remarked we had new shirts but it was an old picture. (We used the same one from the President shirts). Debbie pointed out the band names were on the ornaments but Milo didn't fit. Michael laughed and said he'd tell Milo so he wouldn't feel left out.
After the show we went to catch Michael as he left. He apologized that he couldn't talk much as he had another show in 48 hours. There's a private event at the Mohegan Sun in Conn. on Sunday. Milo said he shouldn't let us talk to Michael since we left him off the shirt! Lol One of the gals that had backstage passes came out and we asked her if she had a good time. She said Michael asked them how the audience was and they told him they liked the women in the Xmas shirts. He told them they (us!) come to a lot of shows! Woot!
And I almost forgot the most important thing! CD is out early February! And he just finished taping a Netflix special for Valentines Day. I guess that's the picture of Michael with the rose.
I think that pretty much sums it up. One of the best shows I've been to!

Hi Sally, I am glad to hear your shirts were a hit again with MB!!LOL I saw them on FB and thought he'd get a kick out of them again.. Way to go ladies and Elena in getting the guitar pick the 2nd time.. LOL Odd no Christmas songs at your show and the one here in MD is also billed as a Holiday show. I am curious now to see if we get Christmas songs by next week or not. Either way I'm ready to rock!LOL
It's nice to know he is in his home area for a few days to see his family and maybe get some down time too.
I am happy to hear we have a release month for the CD! I am seeing him on his birthday in NC so that works!!

Awesome about the Christmas shirts. You go girl. I love it. Can't wait to hear from those going to Maryland. Gave a wayve to my home state girls that are going. If I had millions, I'd be on this whole dang tour, that's for sure. Obssessed? Perhaps so. :)

Hi Sally, thanks for your review! Wow, thanks a lot also for the setlist, much appreciated. I’m under the impression that despite the fact that WAMLAW is supposed to be different on the new CD, Michael is keeping the new version under wraps for now. You guys are having so much fun with the T-shirts and it sounds like Michael is loving it! Wow, thanks a lot for the info about the CD, finally! I do hope the Valentine’s day special will be available elsewhere, for people who don’t have Netflix... Sylvie, perhaps it could be on youtube--the Valentine's net flicks event. Loved reading the setlist Sally & thanks. I'm glad all's commenting as the brain's slipping in remembering. Perhaps I should jot notes down? :) Anyway, once again, thanks for such an awesome review.
