WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2016 MB TOUR REVIEW THREAD !!

Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past. 

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Another super pic of Michael singing WAMLAW last night and this one comes from Timothy Kilkenny who has also posted a video when he was singing WAMLAW because as Michael was shaking hands with the girls Timothy put his "fist" up and he got a "fist bump" from Michael and he hasn't half captured it...terrific !!! :)

                                                                                 Hello everyone and I hope all is well with you in Boltonland ;) I have a quick review before it is July already!! Oh boy...it was very hot in Lincoln!! And not just because I was listening and watching Michael's band rehearse!! lol I could have just walked right into the venue but I was on my best behavior!! LOL Sooo there I stood at the gate and I took a couple of short vids :) I was going to wait for the band to leave but my legs were tired from watching the entire rehearsal so I walked back to the much cooler casino :) And before I knew it it was time to change over for the concert! The weather was better once the sun set!! It was a very pleasant evening with Christopher Cross as the opening act!! You know I am selfish and like to hear only MB but Chris was awesome!! A real class act. It is so nice to see that Michael's colleagues are all still singing to their adoring fans! Christopher Cross sang a beautiful song that he wrote for our American Veterans...We Will Remember You....and all the proceeds went to the Veteran program that Gary Sinise runs which builds homes for disabled veterans!! Very sweet and so appreciated!! They ran a short vid where Gary talks about the program and Cross' wonderful donation. This was the ONLY time a drunk lady sat down who was almost directly in front of me :/ Thankfully there were 2 seats empty next to her so I moved into one and kept the seat between us empty. At least now I could see. I told Bob this is NOT going to fly when Michael comes out!!! LOL You gotta do what you gotta do!! She danced and screamed ALL night! Oy vey...and alcohol was served all throughout the concert :/ I managed to get through it and enjoy MB anyway. Not a fav concert as so many of mine have been. There is always another one!! Michael did not sing any new songs...not even I Got A Woman :/ I heard the band rehearse it but MB has the final word. Robin...did I misunderstand Michael? Didn't you hear him say something about this concert (the one in Palm Springs) being the last concert with that night's songs appearing? I swore he said something similar to it while he mentioned his new album? Michael didn't even mention his new album at this concert. Wonder if there is a delay maybe? Hopefully Robin remembers something similar. It is easier for me to remember what songs he didn't sing and that included no Nessun Dorma. Otherwise most of his regulars...TLT, You Don't Know Me, SILYBIL, My Way, Georgia, SHC, WAMLAW, and I am sure I am missing some ;) Of course Michael sang beautifully and there was some yells from the crowd. I got the impression that both Michael and Christopher were trying to ignore the very LOUD lady near me. Thankfully they did look directly at her so no one could have thought it was me :/ Sam and Michael did their duets and Jason did YASB. They all were fabulous. I can see Sam getting more and more comfortable on stage. She is so sweet and has a wonderful voice. I could hear her projection much better during rehearsal :) Due to the height of the stage and the additional barricade in front of the stage it made Michael appear farther away and the concert didn't seem as personal as they usually do. Thanks goodness I wasn't in first row for this concert because the stage was soooo high! We sat in 3rd row center aisle until I moved up to the second row. I will be crossing this venue and the Spot 29 Casino (or whatever it was called) off my list for concerts. The big barricades keep the audience so far away. Hence no stage dancing nor giving MB flowers or gifts or whatever. I want the most for my concert $ :) There are so many wonderful venues and I WILL be there for sure!! It was a beautiful evening for a concert outside though and that made it very comfortable! I didn't bother to try and catch anyone as they all were so far away with this stage and venue. Bob and I just went back to the casino and gave our deposit to the casino ;) Looking forward to more MB concerts and I know there will be some super ones to come when the new album is finished!!!! I shall wait patiently and be ready to rock out Bolton Style!! Woohoo!!! All of you going to concerts enjoy and I HOPE you hear I Gotta A Woman or maybe an additional new one ;) On to my next Bolton Adventure!!!

Thanks so much for review Kathy and sorry it didn't turn out all that good but as you say, always another one and hopefully, one that will prove, a much, much better one !!! :)

Just one little thing Kathy you have said Michael sang "My Way" (??)....have never heard him do that one and he never sang it in UK !!!

Not long now till concert series starts again and hope those going to various ones start to hear some of the songs from new album.....hope so !!! :)

Oh brother....me and the song list!! No it wasn't My Way.....it was That's Life!!! I need to start passing on reviews!!! LOL OR.....I better bring pen and paper and write down the songs!! Thanks Sylvia for catching my "ooops" and I am sure more will also!! It must be the altitude up here in Mammoth eating up my last brain cells!!

You know me Kathy when I'm soooooooooooooooo good at remembering set lists and try soooooooooooooooooooooo hard as well to remember I just had to point out that oooooooops !!!!!!!!! LOL    Think my pants are really burnt to a cinder now.  In actual fact wish Michael had sung "My Way" but maybe one he believed was Sinatra's and Sinatra's alone so left alone but can you imagine the ending of that from him.....definitely one of those you don't have to hear to hear !!!

Hi Kathy. Did Michael and Christopher sing a duet at your concert? I wonder if Michael will ever bring Christopher to us here in the uk? That would be something else! great review Kathy! Stephanie.
