WELCOME TO THE 2015 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!

Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past. 

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

6/13/2015  Mohegan Sun Pocono  MB ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

 

Hi All,  I had a wonderful time last night at the show at Mohegan Sun Pocono.  I was able to get front row seats just off right of center stage and my friend from work went with me to show #142. LOL  My Bolton Buddy Kathy was unable to attend this one so Lea went with me.  She enjoys all kinds of shows and music and has seen MB a few times before with me over the last few years.

 This is a nice little casino venue and the venue is small and has a low stage which worked for me!!LOL  Before the show I had a chance to meet Amanda Brown finally, sweet girl, we didn’t talk long as she had to get going but was nice to finally say Hi to her and not just on Twitter. LOL. She and Nelson were together and I was able to say a quick hello to him also.   I also got a chance to chat with Jason and Milo before the show and it was good seeing them again. 

 

This was a bit of a rowdie crowd at times with people drinking and such as it was a casino. We had a guy behind us that was kinda loud and a little obnoxious at times with his wife or girlfriend and constantly yelled out stuff and drinking and getting up and down at times. But no one was really bad around us as I’ve seen sometimes before thankfully. The second row behind us were all casino people and they were a lively bunch tho!!LOL    We had most casino folks around us in our row too and we had nice people beside me.  An older lady beside me was so excited to see MB and she clapped and sang along with MB as much as I did!!LOL

 

MB opened the show with Soul Provider! YES!!  The set list was about the same as recent shows but no Nessun Dorma and no Steel Bars later on, the encore was Lean On Me this time!

 

MB came out and did a fantastic rendition of Soul Provider and the loud crowd gave him a lot of applause and he started talking and said there were rules and the first was take all the pictures you want! YES!!!!!! He said get his best side!!LOL  After the guitar set he came center stage and that guy behind me yelled out about his girlfriend/wife’s birthday was that day and MB was trying to see who and I was pointed back over my head and he looked down and smiled and said “It’s not your birthday today Robin.”  LOL Inside joke on that was he was sweet on Monday and replied to a BB’s request to wish me Happy Birthday on Twitter! He cracked me up last night!  He then got all these shout outs for birthdays and he said something like we have over 400 birthdays!!LOL People yelled out take it off and stuff and I think again he said this is not that kind of a show etc.  When the blue guitar came out for Sweet Home Chicago he got a lot of shout outs and he said he was just going to play guitar. I said and you play it very well. He said Thank you and said, see we have people strategically placed!!LOL  He did an awesome job on that one as usual and he tried to toss me the guitar pick but it went over my head and I think the lady behind me got it.  The lady beside me was trying to help me find it. The first one went over to the left of us about 3 rows deep from the first guitar set!! He tried!!!

 

MB and Amanda nailed the duets and there were again these people behind us that loved her sparkly shoes.  MB couldn’t hear what they were saying and I said they like Amanda’s shoes and MB commented to her that we liked her shoes!! LOL He got a kick out of that one. 

 

For WAMLAW he was mid way back the venue and everyone stood up and was excited he was in the audience.  When he came back up to the stage on the left side everyone went to the stage up front including me of course!! YES!!!! Rockin out at a 4 foot high stage works for me. I got a spot just right of center stage past his monitors.  I was a happy clam taking pics and such and MB came down our way at the end of WAMLAW and started shaking hands and he looked down and smiled and made sure he took mine. That worked!!LOL The stage wasn’t packed at that point yet but in a minute it was. Mad rush by the time he started HCWBL!!!LOL My friend didn’t go to the stage and she said that security tried to get in the crowd but they didn’t have much control, the crowd by me was ok.  No one near me pushed or shoved and everyone just rocking out and singing along and taking loads of pictures and getting hand holds.  MB held a lot of hands and pointed the mic down a lot as always. He seemed tickled the audience was at the stage and he was really rockin out and feeding off all of our energy. He looked down a few times my way for me to get pics.. LOL

 

Then he came out for the encore and it was Lean On Me so I was glad he stayed center stage and didn’t sit on the stool by the piano as I was on the right side. 

Before I knew it MB waved goodbye and the show was over.

After the show I got to see Ruki a little bit too and chat with her at the stage while waiting for people to thin out.  Was great seeing her again too.

 

This is a quick recap as I am going to Lancaster tomorrow for the rescheduled show from March. Woo Hoo!

Was good seeing Sally Turner again also.  I didn’t recognize any other fans that I know. I did see Elena that is in the photo above but I don't know her.

 

Thanks MB and band and crew for another Rockin FUN time!!!

Hey Robin, so glad you had a fantastic time and got to visit some too with the crew. I can just imagine MB's responses to Amanda' s shoes and about the birthdays.....LOL. I like the low stages too.....casinos are great to provide us with one very important thing......MICHAEL BOLTON !!!!! :)))). Hi Robin, thanks for your review. If you check the one Sylvia posted, it seems the reporter was taking notes, in case you missed something. :D I’m glad for Michael that the crowd was lively and I’m sure it’s fun to see fans from  all ages having a great time. Good for you getting “Soul provider”! I’m happy for you that you got your interaction with Michael and stage rush time too. It sounds like Michael is starting to phase out “Nessun dorma”, but at least you got “The prayer”. Well anyway, have fun in Lancaster, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

YES we had an amazing rendition of The Prayer Sylvie.  OK I just read the article, he said about same stuff I did for the most part here and there. Was a great concert!!!! Thanks!!

Thanks for another super review Robin. Alas....at the stage dancing!! My FAV!!! It is nice to have different things happen at each concert. What a thrill to have multiple shows in one week!! Sounds like a GREAT Bolton Adventure once again!! I can only hope during our dry spell over here in SoCal. Guess I will have to hang out at restaurants in LA. to catch MB....LOL Thanks again for delicious photos also Robin. It was a nice escape for me!! Enjoy your great memories :))))

You are welcome Kathy. I hope you get some shows out there later this year too, he is headed that general direction!!

I had a rockin good time!  It was good getting to the stage at this one. I haven't had an audience that would go like this one in a while!! Was fun!!!

Oh! Robin! Always a good review. Thanks girl. Love your interaction with Michael. I'm totally stoked for you that's for sure. :) Enjoy the show tomorrow night & awesome Sally was there. I'm glad your friend enjoyed the show as well.

Well, I give up. I couldn't get into the website all morning and I've just had 2 replies and lost them both. So frustrating! Maybe I'll have better luck after the Lancaster show!
