WELCOME TO THE 2017 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!

Welcome everyone to the 2017 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with concerts scheduled already for 2017!!  MB has some USA shows starting off the year in January and more shows through early April so far and I’m sure many more to come around the globe as the year unfolds!  Also exciting for 2017 is the February 10th release of Songs of Cinema and I am betting a few more songs from the CD will make it in the tour setlist!  Woo Hoo!  This is the best time to be a fan with MB’s concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2017 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.  

Let the year long concert party begin and I wish concerts for all of you in 2017!! I know many fans are on other social media sites but I do hope we can continue with the exciting tour reviews here in 2017!  You all make the thread fun.

Well, folks, where do I start? Oh, yes, at the beginning. I got to the Spotlight 29 Casino early which was fine with me. My driver took me to will call where I picked up my ticket. You know me, I don't have mine mailed. I've had lost tickets in the past. Anyway, one of the folks from the casino helped me to the table where I purchased a keyring from Joe. He was kind to put my keys on to the keyring. From what he described, it's a photo of Michael & it says I then, there's a heart with a picture of him & then, it says MB. Yeah, I love MB. So true. :) Anyway, Kathy met up with me eventually. When we got into the venue, she sat with me until the folks came to their seat. Michael started out with "Stand By Me." They performed for 2 hours. That made up for the 2 shows in Costa Mesa. You know how Michael wants us to make noise & I was. This guy said, or asked, "Must you yell so loud." The lady next to me said, "Leave her alone. She paid for her ticket." I thanked her. One time I said, "Michael, it's me Robin. Though I'm not up front, I'm here. he  then said hi to me. I then said, "Michael, I can't make too much noise. I don't want to deafen anyone." I wonder what that guy thought of our stage interaction there. I loved it. I can't remember everything Michael said but he may not have heard everything I said since I was in the 6th row. :) Michael was talkative. I know I have setslists to bring out & I will. After the show, Kathy, Carol, Constance, & I got setlists from Ashley. Jason shook my hand as did Ashley. Yeah, there were barricades but the afterwards was the bomb.Yeah, we weren't able to go up to the stage  :) The 4 of us were searching for Michael's vehicle. We saw this one white van & thought he was leaving but Kathy saw Milo & you can bet, Michael ain't leaving without Milo. So, we knew he was coming out eventually in which he did. Beforehand, we did see the band members leaving & some responded which was cool.Yeah, there were cops & security here, there, & everywhere, but they gave us directions to go there where ever there was. Kathy would know. LOL  Michael did come & we got our setlists autographed. Loved it. I got to touch his hand twice. Kathy mentioned about the guy that yhelled at me for hollering. Michael said, "I'm sorry." I said, "It's not your fault." He's such a babe. We complimented him on how good the show was & gotta let you know, he did do OTR&R. Man, I screamed whether that guy liked it or not. It was an awesome night that's for sure & Kathy, if I left anything out, let me know, ok? Kathy & Bob took me back to my friends 15 miles away. I didn't have to take a cab or paratransit this time back. I did going which was fine but y'all don't wanna know that, right?

The next concert on MB's tour out West is at Snoqualmie Casino, Snoqualmie, WA on March 16, 2017.

Everyone going enjoy the rockin fun show MB's been giving!!  I hope to read some more reviews as this tour rolls along.

Hey Robin R, thanks for your great review! I’m glad to hear you got your interaction with Michael from the stage and he sang OTR&R girl. Oh yeah, most people wouldn’t know you have asthma when you get excited! lol Thanks for sharing your special moment with Michael too. You're welcome Sylvie. I was feeling much better at this show than I was in Costa Mesa though I had an awesome time there. Yeah, I had to use the inhaler before the show but that's life. :))))

The next show on the MB USA tour out NorthWest is at Spirit Mountain Casino, Grande Ronde, OR on Saturday March 18, 2017.

 

I would love to read some reviews from shows in these states that we don't hear from as often.
