Working on New CD - 2011

Well as you have seen posted in other threads, Michael is recording and working on his next CD.  I found this yesterday and thought you would enjoy.  Any findings or info you find on the new CD...please post it here..thanks!

You know the Rascal Flatts boys have been collaborating with Justin Beiber.

Now it seems the mega-country group is going with, uh, the opposite demographic.

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts put up a picture of his group with Michael Bolton.

Jay tweets that they’re all writing a new song for Michael’s new album.

Won’t Justin be jealous?

David Foster cooked up a duet featuring Michael singing "When a Man Loves a Woman" and Seal joining in with James Brown's "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World." Foster says, "I woke up at 6 AM one morning with the idea that these two songs could go together, with these two great voices from different genres, and they embraced it. This is a powerful, powerful moment. It's a real shootout, and it's impossible to say who wins, because they're both so amazing."

Robin, I just found it listed on amazon.com. They don't have it for pre-sale yet, but supposedly will notify you when it is. Wouldn't it be great if we could also find it at Target or Best Buy!

YES it would be, I did find the last one at my local Target store on release day, had 3 copies but they had it when they opened. I hope to do that again and can have it to listen to while we are driving to CT!!! :)  Crossing fingers and toes locally they are available this go round much more than last!!!!

Thanks Gail for posting such wonderful information - oh boy, oh boy, oh boy - what a CD this one is going to be - OMG it sounds INCREDIBLE - well, well done Michael - well done sweetheart !! :)    I am just over the moon - imagine "Fields of Gold" with Eva Cassidy - never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever hear  Michael singing with Eva and I am going to - it is unfortunate but the only word we have in the English language is "thanks" because for that alone, in my book, "thanks" just ain't enough !!!! :)

The cover too looks spectacular - absolutely beautiful !! :)

Robin, just to say, article says there is going to be a pre-purchase on here - don't have to bother about your local shops  ......more good news !!!! :)

Hi Gail, OMG thank you so much for posting this! OMG, that track list leaves me breathless! Girl, that’s fantastic news that it will be available to pre-order from this site, woohoo! Okay,  I’ve just re-read the track list and uhm, where are SILYBIL with Agnes Monica, the song with Coco Lee  and HAISTLWY with God knows who? I hope it doesn’t mean what I think it means… Do you think you could find out what happened to the other songs?
