Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval.
I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like.
Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year.
I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me.
For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US.
Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).
A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture.
When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us.
It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael.

Hi Karen....me again....for I just remembered that what we do have from Melbourne are quite a lot of videos and I have put them over in the Video Section which you see on the main list of contents and the links are also on the forum in the "General Chat about MB" section under the thread "New videos on youtube" if you wanted to check them out and imagine you are back at THAT concert !!! :) Hope you enjoy if you do check them out for they are very, very good !!! :)

Hi Karen and have read your post above and obviously, thank goodness, MB didn't wait another 16 years and I hope too from this time he doesn't either !!! :) I saw your blog post on "Leaving Sydney" which prompted me to come on here with a message, which I hope you don't mind me doing, but I wanted to ask you if you were at the Melbourne show if you would consider coming into the 2012 Tour Review thread and giving us a little review of the concert for we only have ones from Dianna who attended the Gold Coast and the two concerts at the Sydney Opera House and we, obviously, would love to hear more !! :) We don't, unfortunately, have any pictures from Melbourne and I don't believe either any media right ups about show or MB's visit but we do have plenty of others and they include ones from Adelaide and Hobart etc. and obviously I do not know if you have been in and read but to let you know that the Australian tour "stuff" is spread over two threads; one being in the section "General Chat about MB" and the thread in that is called "More Tidbits from Australia Tour" (or something similar) and the other is in the "Tours, Gigs and Announcement" section and the thread there is the 2012 Tour Review (much longer title than that...cut it down a little as I never remember the whole of it !! LOL) and of course both are contained in the Forum Section on the website.....if you haven't been in and seen everything in the forum I do hope you get chance to go in and look at and that you enjoy and as I say, I do hope you will consider coming in and joining with us in discussions about "Bolton Adventures" !! :)
