I want to extend my deepest apologies to those who had tickets to my cancelled Stuttgart show. I woke up late this afternoon with a high fever and sore throat. A physician was able to see me at the hotel and I was diagnosed with bronchitis. As I have said before, but cannot stress enough, the decision to cancel a show and disappoint fans (many who have waiting a very long time to see a show) is agonizing, but unfortunately the extensive travel and duration of this very, very long world tour has occasionally resulted in illness that makes it impossible for me to perform.

Although I have been under the weather for quite some time, I've been on a mission to perform as much as possible in Germany for my incredible fans over here and our first shows were fantastic. I can only hope to rest intensively and heal quickly as there are more shows ahead as well as a televised performance with Helene Fischer and Jose Carreras. My sincere apologies to all the people who were looking forward to the show and for any inconvenience the cancellation has caused anyone. Mb

I wish you very much to concentrate on the process of healing...which is very important for physical and emotional well being...Germans are very good at understanding how important to feel healthy, before you bring something to the world... They will forgive you the concelation of the concert. The big part of the healing process-think about you fans ,how they love you, how they want to see you , how they support you ,IT"S THAT WHAT YOU MAKE TICK!!

Hi Michael, I  hope you are on the road to recovery.. I wanted to let you know about a company that does independent research for vitamin, herb supplements and some pharmaceuticals I believe.  They test the quality of products to let people know if they are really getting what they think they are getting.   Just wanted to let you know to be on the safe side.  www.consumberlab.com.

Michael, so sorry to hear you are ill again.  It looks like the the weather in Europe has been ferocious. I myself left New England a few years back because I can no longer tolerate the extreme cold, snow, etc. It's very hard on the immune system!  I know how badly you must feel to have to disappoint your fans, but some things can't be helped.  We are quite chilly here in South Florida; I hope by the time you get here in January, you are well, the sun is keeping us all warm, and you can get in some great golf in between shows! Holiday blessings to you and all your family! xox

No human being is a machine and it is of cause sad for everyone that the show had to be cancelled, but health stays the number one in life. So take your time to recover, get you some freshly made "Glühwein" from the hotel , drink it in your bed, sllep well, the next day the flue has gone - probably now you will have a headache due to the Glüwein :))

If you will perform in one of the shows in Germany, let us now - I would also see a show with Helene Fischer (self torture...) if you will really perform there. But firstly get healthy !

Thanks for great 2 hours in Düsseldorf, cross fingers for your recovering and for your fans on your tour through Germany.

Katja

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know what televised show, with Jose Carreras, Michael is referring to in his above message?

Sylvia.   A wee Scottish friend.   A wee twitter, it is bloody freezing here again with a thick, thick frost - more snow forecast!
