Hi everyone, this blog will be an attempt to keep my friends and other site lurkers updated on what’s been going on in our little MB world. I only want to write about newsworthy items relevant to his career and life when it’s appropriate. The main reason I’m doing it is to stop repeating myself and stop having to search for previous posts. Since I’m on the site on a regular basis, I thought it would be helpful. :D Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi everyone, I have a couple of items of interest today. First, there is an article and 2 part video interview Michael did in Punta Del Este on September 5 in Uruguay:
http://www.minutouno.com/notas/1294051-video-entrevista-exclusiva-m...
This was Michael’s first time in Uruguay, so that’s pretty cool. Now second, since Michael has posted about it on FB, I’d like to report that so far, our Michael said he’d be recording Marvin Gaye’s “Heard it through the grapevine” from the movie “The big chill” and Ray Charles’ “I got a woman’ from the movie “Ray” on his next CD. I have to say I was so thrilled to hear Michael picked something from “Ray”, because I’d suggested something. I know it was a no-brainer, but leave me my delusions... XD That’s the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Hi everyone, here is something Sylvia picked up on Twitter:
"To let you know Michael was asked a question on Twitter how things were coming along for the ABC sit-com and he has replied by saying:
"Michael Bolton @mbsings 1 hr1 hour ago
@BruscatoGina we have a pilot script!""
So there you go folks. Of course, this doesn't mean the pilot will air or be picked up, but it has developed enough to nail it down to a first script, so it's a start. That's the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I did a little poking around on the
site andI've discovered you can subscribe to the newsletter, from the "upcoming events" page, if I'm not mistaken. So far, aside from the premiere/preview on October 2 in Detroit, there will be an event at the Grove in L.A. on Wednesday December 16. That’s the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Hi everyone, I have a cool update tonight: we finally have a true official trailer for Michael’s Detroit documentary now called “Gotta keep dreamin’”. This is the official site:
Now on the site, you have to type in the password “hitsville59” to have access to the trailer and it’s also posted on Vimeo.
All this info is courtesy of Sylvia, so thanks Sylvia. That's the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D
Hi everyone, I have a couple of items of interest tonight. OK first, Michael will be at the charity launch of author Mitch Albom’s next book in November, which has a cool marketing ploy:
http://www.freep.com/story/sports/columnists/mitch-albom/2015/09/16...
He, Mitch Albom that is, basically wrote a novel about a fictional musician, which will include a soundtrack. Our Michael is part of the book and might presumably be part of the soundtrack. No confirmation whether a new or old song will feature on the soundtrack.
Now second, our Michael has assembled a Spotify playlist of favorite movie songs and here’s the link to it:
https://open.spotify.com/user/michaelboltonsinger/playlist/0TemZDsp...
For those like me who don’t have total access, Sylvia was kind enough to copy the list and here it is:
"With A Little Help From My Friends" - Joe Cocker, "Got To Give It Up" (Part 1) - Marvin Gaye, "God Only Knows" - Beach Boys, "Mrs Robinson" - Reprise - Simon & Garfunkel, "Don't Be Shy" - Cat Stevens (Yusuf), "Beyond The Sea" - Bobby Darin, "Rags To Riches" - Tony Bennett, "I Have But One Heart" - Al Martino, "Tiny Dancer" - Elton John, "Something In The Air" - Thunderclap Newman, "I Will Always Love You" - Whitney Houston, "How Deep Is Your Love" - Bee Gees, "On Earth As It Is In Heaven" - Ennio Morricone, "Born To Be Wild" - Steppenwolf, "Blowin' In the Wind" - Joan Baez, "California Dreamin'" - Mamas & Papas, "Turn, Turn, Turn" - The Byrds, "Everybody's Talkin'" - Harry Nilsson, "Chantilly Lace" - The Big Bopper, "Go Your Own Way" - Fleetwood Mac, "Grease" - Frankie Valli, "Be My Baby" - The Ronettes, "Hungry Eyes" - Eric Carmen, "More Than A Woman" - Bee Gees, "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" - Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes, "Son Of A Preacher Man" - Dusty Springfield, "Run To You" - Whitney Houston, "That'll Be The Day" - Buddy Holly, "Runaway" - Del Shannon, "Ain't That A Shame" - Fats Domino, "Purple Rain" - Prince,
I'm not sure from what movies some of these songs are, but I guess I’ll have to go walkabout on YouTube, again, oh dear... :D That’s the news for now folks, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi Sylvie,
Just wanted to thank you for doing this page! It helps me keep up with MB as I sometimes can't read everything separately. You make it a nice short summary of what's going on. Love that you put the links here also.
Hugs!
Joy ;)
