Hi everyone, this blog will be an attempt to keep my friends and other site lurkers updated on what’s been going on in our little MB world. I only want to write about newsworthy items relevant to his career and life when it’s appropriate. The main reason I’m doing it is to stop repeating myself and stop having to search for previous posts. Since I’m on the site on a regular basis, I thought it would be helpful. :D Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi everyone and a great happy new year to you all! Today, I’m bringing old news, but this is very special: a delicious video Sylvia found, it’s a stellar performance by Michael and Hernaldo Zunega, from April 23 2013, at the "Latin songwriters Hall of fame" presentation we couldn't see. The song is called “Procuro olvidarte”. It was finally uploaded this past October, enjoy!

From the hints Michael dropped while in latin America, I have a feeling Michael just might have a latin-flavoured project in the works, that just might include collaborations like these, as part of his future projects. Stay tuned! That’s the old news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi everyone, my friend Sally just found out that the Michael Bolton Charities participates in the Amazon.smile program. This means that every time you purchase something from smile.amazon.com, Amazongives 0.5% of your purchase to your chosen charity. It’s not much, but as Sally said, it could add up in the long run. Check for details here:

http://smile.amazon.com/about/ref=smi_ge_uaas_lm_uaas

I’m not sure if both sides have the same stock, but I’m sure it’s worth checking out. That’s the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi everyone, today’s news isn’t  really news, but since Michael’s outing at the premiere of the movie “Big Eyes” allowed us to have a holiday sweet, I thought it was worth mentioning... :D Here’s a video from the after-party:

This clearly wasn’t rehearsed and Michael is doing his best to harmonize with Paul Sorvino, but it sounds like Paul is just happy to be singing, God bless him! :D Thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Hi everyone, I have a couple of updates today. First, Casino Rama in Orillia Ontario Canada have a contest on their Facebook page, for you to win tickets for Michael’s concert on March 13 2015. I read the rules and stopped when it stated you must be a resident of Ontario... L Well anyway, here’s the link:

https://www.facebook.com/casinoramaresort?v=app_161033847281768&...

Now second, Gloria has provided us with a YouTube link to a video of the TV show Michael was on, that was aired yesterday, in Mexico I believe. Here’s the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va1miiomkq0

Google translation of the description of the video:

“The guest of this program is international, thanks to him sing "When a man loves a woman" (When a Man Loves a Woman), if you have not heard this song have to find it immediately, Michael Bolton is one of the exponents more popular soft-rock and romantic ballad of our time, so you should not miss this program because you have so much fun and meet this great musician.

El Hormiguero Mx

The program revolves around guests (national and international), which are subject to challenges, experiments ... with the sole purpose of fun and we enjoy ourselves.

Hosted by Mauricio Mancera. Broadcast Monday through Thursday from 9:30 pm on Channel 7 TV Azteca.”

Note that the program is all in Spanish and may not be available in your country, it’s not in Canada, nor in Europe. I think Gloria did have access though. If anyone can access and do a play-by play, that would be great. I’ll keep you posted if I hear anything. That’s the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D

Concert on December 7

Managua, Nicaragua | elnuevodiario.com.ni

Michael Bolton: "I'm not out of music"

Music. The singer talks about her upcoming concert in Nicaragua and its project to work in television and film

The romance comes to Nicaragua hand Michael Bolton. The American singer who lived success in the 80s and 90s, will perform a concert on December 7 at the Ruben Dario National Theater.

After almost a week of his show, Bolton, 61, tells you expect your stay in Nicaragua with emotion and also talks about other projects that you are working.

How do you wait your next trip to Nicaragua?

I am excited. I've never been there and I look forward to my hosts show me around and can meet people. I spend about 6 months of the year doing tours in Asia, Australia, South Africa, South America, Europe and North America, but still have not done a tour in Central America. My excitement is going to Nicaragua will begin to manifest when you arrive because the most important thing to me is how people feel and what they think of me that is what makes then want to return.

What can they expect Nicaraguans your show?

I will not reveal the surprises, but they can expect my greatest hits are in the show. That's the most important thing for an artist who has been for years, doing tours, recording music, writing songs. When I go to a new country to play the songs that I am working and which are not known, that's not right. Promote your new product is not what people want. They want to hear the songs they remember from their childhood, youth, adolescence.

Have you thought about working with a Latin artist?

Yes, I made recordings with various artists from around the world and I plan to continue doing so. One of the things I'm seeing now is the possibility of maybe doing something half Spanish half English, maybe a little more depending latino with few working artists. With my manager we are in the process of defining what kind of music do and what artists which countries would be the best choice for my voice.

What projects are you working on now?

I have three television projects in development. One I could be the executive producer and may not act. In another I will be one of the main characters and I also have a global project, but I can not say about what it is. It is a project that works the way if you're planning, many brands from around the world to include. Would have to travel the world a lot, but that I'm doing with the tours. Also I have a documentary we've been filming for two and a half years on the return of Detroit, who was one of the most important cities in the United States until 2008 when he was the mortgage and the global banking crisis. There were many problems in the city and went out of business so far we have been recording their return.

You are very interested in audiovisual ...

Yes, very much. But not at the level that means I'm out of music. I will always try to bring the music to television and movies. My plan is to continue doing tours for as long as you can. I see Tony Bennett is in his 80s and still does tours around the world. Just recorded an album with Lady Gaga. It is a great example of someone who has loved music all his life. I want to do the same. I have a long career in music and also extend to television and film.

53 million albums and singles sold the singer.

61 years is the author of "Said i lovedyoubut i lie".

"I do not want to reveal the surprises, but they can expect my greatest hits are in the show".

Hi everyone, today’s piece of “wait & see” news is that Michael’s peops and Korean singer  So Hyang’s peops are in talks for them to do a world tour together. I have no more details as to whether this will be a backup singer or opening act situation, since all the articles we have are in Korean. If you have a good translator site, the articles can be found on this page:

That’s the news for now, thanks for reading, sincerely, Sylvie :D
