Pics During My Concerts
It was just brought to my attention that some of my fans in attendance at the Dublin show were told that, at my request, they could not take photos or video during my performance on Thursday. This news was extremely upsetting to me and I want to clarify that I always allow pics by the fans and there will never be a time when I restrict them as I know how much it adds to the experience of enjoying the evening. There are performances where venue management will ask audience members not to take pics,but if anyone at those venues ever represents that I personally (or anyone on my behalf) has not allowed the photography that is a blatant untruth. Even in venues where I know this is the policy, when I see a fan taking a shot using their phone or a camera I will smile and pose, as again, I think it adds to their enjoyment of the experience.
The Dublin show was one of my favorites of the last 90 I've done. I loved the theater and the audience,which was fantastic and sang to me all night. My position has and will always be that the fans have paid and waited to come see me and if they want to take pics with cameras or their phones that's absolutely fine with me. I encourage them to do so and post their faves, here or anywhere else that they like. This has always been the case and will not change!!

Yes Michael I had this at the Dublin concert i was far back up at the circle i got a few sneaky shots again to be told i'd be removed from my seat but i still snook in a few photos your so worth it

Hello Michael, thank you for your honest and warm words. My experience in Vienna in 2009 was the same tragedy like in Dublin. The rude security threatened to throw me out because I wanted to take some photos as I was sitting in the 1st row close to you. It´s true, I could enjoy the concert but I just wanted to share my photos on this forum or to save them for days I cannot be with you. The only way I can be with you are my Bolton-dreams that cannot be ruined by anybody!
I am looking forward to seeing you in London in a few days, and later in Stuttgart and Nuremberg.

It's great to get your views on things like this and hope fully when I see you at the NIA in Birmingham on Friday I will get the chance to take a pickie or 2. Can't wait am really looking forward to it .

In Zürich (Switzerland) it wasn't allowed to take photos, why? I din't know, in Gardone (Italy) a guard told me to stop taking photos, why? I didn't know.
Anyway I DID take photos and videos. F... the rules!

Hello again Michael....I must say that the Lancaster PAC did NOT allow photos and were even rude about telling Bob and I. Well......it takes a lot to get Bob mad and he was FURIOUS that the page person was soooo rude. As a fire captain he works constantly with the public and he KNEW this lady was unprofessional. Believe me....as soon as the concert ended...Bob sought out the manager and definitely told her how we were treated. She tried to tell us the "no cameras" sign is posted and Bob lamented....WHERE?...no where was there a sign. Alas....in minute print on the BACK of the ticket it says no cameras. So a little warning to the fans out there...some venue might try to use this weak excuse for not allowing photos. Don't listen and simply enjoy Michael's concert AND your photos!!

Michael , Thank you! At your concert in NJ we were also told that there were no pictures allow. Of course I but the camera down but did take a few. When it was time to go up to the stage they did not want us up there either but we told them Micheal Wants us up there . After that they lost all control of picture taking and videos! I cherish the pictures and videos! So thank you again we all know you would never stop us from doing this!! I'll be there with my Camera in March right up front!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
