what a gratifying concert in tokyo!!!! At first the audience can strike you as so reserved you aren't certain they're enjoying the songs until they continue their applause and its obvious they are listening closely and feeling the music deeply. They loved the new music but "nessun dorma" stole the show. I dedicate it to the greatest tenor of all time luciano pavarotti every night since he has passed away and it always takes me to the place and time I first performed with the great one. The audience in tokyo was so respectful and appreciative. We all loved that show and celebrated with our band and crew afterwards (Photos coming- it was ryan huddle sons birthday ) in usual traditional delicious highly fattening cake and a loud surprise happy birthday song sung by all. Not necessarily in tune. - Mb

Hey Michael, thanks again for the update, you’re spoiling us!  I’m so glad you had a great time in Tokyo too. Luciano Pavarotti said in an interview once that he couldn’t believe the amount of bootleg recordings he found inJapan. I guess they know a good singer when they hear one! I’ll never forget the first time I heard you sing “Nessun dorma”. My husband bought the “Pavarotti & friends” CD and when he had me hear it, it felt like time stopped and I swore I could feel the blood rush through my veins… It was thanks to you and “my buddy Luciano” that I started going to the opera and I’m forever thankful for that… God bless you for honoring him that way! I fully agree that he's the greatest! Take care Michael, stay well and safe and please go on with the updates, we love them! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

It sounds like you are having so much fun! It's nice to see and hear people really appreciate all your hard work on the new CD and previous ones too! And you surprise so many with "nessun dorma." I remember hearing you sing it in 2002 at Konocti Harbor in Kerney, California. It was just beautiful!! I got this close to meeting you in but you were talking on the phone and I did not want to interrupt you. Cindy
