Update From the Road # 3
Ok hi everybody. Singapore, Jakarta, Australia, Tokyo to China was a lot of travel. I just think I'm still 21. I have to share about China. A very exciting and powerful promising time for their country. The huge economic growth has lifted millions if not hundreds of millions out of poverty. The cities are very modernized and some aspects absolutely futuristic. 3 shows and we were warmly welcomed and finished in Beijing to an amazingly warm receptive sold out venue and no one wanted to end the show. They sang to me in English and tried to rush the stage but security there is still a bit nervous about that. Still phenomenal experience and we filmed quite a bit of our experience there and will try to make the footage and shots available asap. China was truly a great trip and I enjoyed the Chinese fans and our hosts so much. And Yoxi (Yui Sai) the Chinese Oprah who showed us around Shanghai. She rocks!! I'm looking forward to going back and doing 10 shows there. Next time. We're now in Amsterdam with a few days off then Paris, London, Las Vegas and Hartford ct for the "Travelers Hartford Pro Am" so I'll be close to home again yay!!!!!

hi michael no wonder your homesick all that traveling pluc a new baby on the way congratulation grandad lol. must admit we cant wait till you come back so dont get any ideas about being a stay at home grandad as we may have to come to your house and listen to you singing lulabys to baby bolton. love you always see you on 17 june at hampton court. if you still feel like your 21 you can have my mobile number anytime lol . love you joxxx

9AM in office I learned there would be a live,8PM in first row I was there with you.
Not easy, but I said to myself "I have missed Elaine Page,missed Jose Carerras, this time I just cant miss Michael Bolton!"
I insist you have a very EXPRESSIVE voice,which is vital to touch the mind of audience.
My mom says you are like QiLinTong, a famous actor for Chinese Opera long ago.I laugh and totally agree with her insight.Art connects, no matter time no matter genre.
And you are the artist I like and respect.You deserved the huge applause in Shanghai Grand Stage.
In case you dont have clue for this QiLinTong,he is father of the owner of Mr Chow's,(famous restaurant in LA)

Michael: once again, thanks so much... these updates are just fabulous!!!! We saw the photos about the time with Yui Sai and seems she prepared for you an amazing tour around the city and the EXPO... not only work, that's great!!!! Enjoy the days off and we can't wait to see that recordings/photos... and even some from the past too! ;-)

By the way Michael - Maine is as fascinating and exotic as those places - no really it is. Northern Maine is another world - well - I think I live in the Twilight Zone but that's besides the point - anyway - we do have moose here - not much cooler than a moose in the road that won't move.
