Hey Helena, well as I’ve said: good luck with getting Michael’s attention and getting him to sing in NY! Oh my husband is a big Leslie Nielsen fan. Yeah I remember you telling me you had spoken on the phone a few times. Out of curiosity, I checked it out and he’s 84! The last I heard is that he had hearing problems and the last movie we saw of him was a spoof of superhero movies but don’t remember the title. Did you know he was Canadian? He’s from Saskatchewan eh! Lol Oh that reminds me, I’ve read yesterday that you live in Bensonhurst, do you have that wonderful accent that we hear in movies? Please Helena, I don’t mean any disrespect, I just love accents! I used to watch “Welcome Back Kotter” and just loved Barbarino’s accent! Well, I love John Travolta, period. I’ve been told I don’t have an accent and frankly, I just say “eh” when I mention something Canadian or I’m being silly… :D All right Helena, I hope you do meet up with Juliet on her way back and maybe even go to a concert with her someday. Hi Helena, glad you had a fun time with Juliet! Hee-hee, actually, my son hated the movie and didn’t even watch it all the way through. Remember the movie “Airplane” with Leslie Nielson? He wanted to watch something he hadn’t seen before, guess it’s not his kind of humor. My husband loves it though. It’s funny how I seem to have a different genre of movie with each kid. I’ve read your post about asking Michael to go to N Y, good luck with that girlfriend! I’ve read 2 other people’s posts on various blogs, aside from mine, asking Michael to come back to Montreal and we’re still waiting. I even suggested that his tour manager should find a complete map of Canada, so he can assess that Canada does extend past Vancouver and that dang Rama Ontario! :D Well, you get nothing if you don’t ask so, keep asking, that’s all I can say. Hello Helena, I have one DVD of Michael ! I bought it in the beginning of the year but, unfortunitely, the zone of written is wrong ! I 'm in France and you, in The USA : if you accept, giving me your adress, i'll send you this ! It's a treasure for me but i can't watch it !! Hi Helena, if you were in high-school in the 80’s, you’re not that old girl! Lol Hmm, when you say “hard rock” that you listened to, which artists are we talking about? Also, I’m not sure how long you’ve been a fan so do you know Michael’s “Everybody’s crazy”? I love that album! Cool you get discount tix for Broadway shows, we all need a friend like that!  Oh, going to NY is more of a dream than anything sweetie: money’s pretty tight. Juliet is gonna meet a lot of people during her trip! Yep, pretty sure the David Foster thing will be in Vegas. Too bad charity events are so expensive, my friend Robin has access but not the funds, she’s in CA. I think it’s great to plan going to Vegas for your birthday: will this be a milestone birthday? Just curious. I do like Barry Manilow. Oh yes, I do go to the opera as often as I can, which means about twice a season if I’m lucky, plus the opera gala in December. I actually just attended “Rigoletto” last weekend here in Montreal; I live in the suburbs. Then it’ll be the gala and the following one will be in June 2011. Is your Canadian friend a Bolton fan? Hi Helena, wow, good for you going to see aBroadway show! Was it a musical? I’m not into “Star Trek” so have only heard of Patrick Stewart. I can’t imagine what it’s like to live in NY and have all this beautiful culture so readily available! I’d like to go to NY in my life to hear Juan Diego Florez at the Met and attend “Phantom of the opera”… I have an old tour list on the computer and Michael was scheduled to be at the Ethical Center on November 1st but I guess it got canceled, I’m sorry. Yeah, the charity thing is on Friday in Mandelay, where’s Mandelay? In any case, Gail just posted this morning that the David Foster thing will be filmed and released both as a CD and a DVD! Hi Helena, yes I had a great weekend: I went to the opera on Saturday and had a great day with my opera buddy, thanks for asking. So, what show was that on Friday? I don't check the tour list very often, because Michael hardly comes to my area, but I do get updates when new dates are added. Was it Michael you saw on Friday? I think he's going to be in NY November 1st, isn't he? Will you be going? lol sorry for the 20 questions! Well, whenever you see him, hope you share your concert review with us. I just have heard many horror stories about group homes for female adults. I am glad that you were able to find a good place for your brother.
