The 1st Annual Michael Bolton and Dave Mason Benefit Concert and Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, September 26th at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, an historic resort featuring luxury accommodations, a championship golf course and Spa Ojai.

We will tee off at 9:00 a.m. at the world-class Ojai Country Club, one of the first great golf courses in California. Later that evening Michael and Dave will perform with their great bands and surprise musical guests. The evening will include a cocktail/dinner reception, silent and live auctions.

Your support will make it possible for The Michael Bolton Charities, established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, to continue our funding to numerous agencies.

A portion of the proceeds from our event will benefit two local organizations:

Yoga Blue, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 2009 in Ojai by Winifred Wilson, whose mission is dedicated to teaching yoga to people in recovery from substance abuse, other self-destructive behaviors and domestic violence.

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital has been treating the most seriously ill and injured in Los Angeles for more than a century and is known throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.

Thanks Gail, Joe Pesci plays in alot of the same tournaments as Michael!  MB usually T's off after noon time!! Especially after a late night the night before, that's good for him and us attending!!LOL

Mind you, the earlier Michael T's off, the more time he can spend at the 19th hole!!

 

I dont 'do' mornings either. I dont think I could whack a golf ball with a golf bat thingy that early either. Mind you, I can't whack a golf ball with a golf bat at anytime of the day, I'm one of those left handed players with the 'round the wrong way' bats!

LOL 19th hole? Do you mean 18th hole? I don't know about a golf course with a 19th hole!!!! :)  Golf bat? We call them clubs here, It's interesting the different terms we all have for these things isn't it.

I'm only kidding Robin honest I am. Ha Ha!! Calling sports equipemnt etc by thr wrong names is a little joke that my Mum and I have. Neither of us understand a thing about golf, cricket, tennis etc, and we just swap the names of things around for a bit of fun.

 

Here in the UK we say that the19th hole is another term for the clubhouse where the bar and the booze are and that if a player is going round the course quickly, we reckon its because the 19th hole is calling him the ice is melting in his drink!

 

I was serious about being a left handed 'wrong way round' player though. My Dad was left handed and we used to laugh that our clubs were back to front.

LOL OK Jennifer, The club house makes more sense!!! :)  I write left-handed but played sports right handed like softball, baseball when I was a kid.. Go figure!!! :)

Woo Hoo I love Steel Bars anyway and she's so cool. I was amazed by her when I saw her with MJ in This Is It.. It will be a blast seeing her rock out with Michael!!! This should be a very unique and fun show..Cannot wait!! Thanks Gail for the update!!
