I have set myself a big challenge after being inspired as a spectator at the London Marathon watching Juliet run, I thought it crazy to run 26.2 miles but then the following day I surprised my self when I felt a strong urge to complete a marathon too!

I chose to support SHINE, Shine is a unique night-time walking marathon, and I will be taking part in Shine London - to beat Leukaemia on 1st October 2011.

Any money you raise will go towards Cancer Research's Shine London - to beat Leukaemia. And what a better reason than to raise money for a worthy cause, Cancer Research UK.

Cancer is a disease we all want to see a cure for, there is not a person hasn't been affected by cancer in one way or another, sadly too many friends and family have been taken too soon, this is for you all, I will do you proud, I will SHINE for you all.
