Hi Joy. As I can see this problem is everywhere in the world! Unfortunately, radio stations broadcast especially songs that young people like most, so rap, techno, metal and other kinds of rubbish! We together should think about a way to advertise Michael's songs, like music requests, twitter or facebook.Keep in touch. Alba
Ciao Alba
Somebody told me that the big & famous record companies pay the radio stations for their songs! I don't know if it's true!
ciao tanti saluti
Silvy
Hello Alba,
I come from the Czech Republic where Michael slightly unknown is. But always when my friends celebrate their birthday I write to many Czech radio stations asking them to play a MB-Song for my friends as my music-gift for them :-)) It takes always some weeks as they have to find his song in the archive but they have always done it.
When I lived in Germany, I wrote many e-mails to the most popular local radio station in Bavaria and they really started playing MB-music more often but ALWAYS the same song :-)). You can see the playlist. Anyway, it is a big SUCCESS :-))
Many regards from Prague
Ivana
Ciao Alba,
sono qui in Toscana, per le mie vacanze. Sulla via del ritorno dalla Abbazia di San Galgano a San Martino, abbiamo sentito alla radio per la nostra gioia: "Can I touch you .... there" !!! (19.20h, 102.50 MHz). Le due figlie ( 7 e 8 anni) della mia amica hanno immediatamente smesso di litigare LOL
Tanti saluti dal vostro bel Paese
Astrid (dalla Germania).
(Hi Alba,
I am in Tuscany for my holidays. On our way back home from the Abbey San Galgano (about 30km away from Siena) we were surprised and blessed to hear "Can I touch you ... there" (19.20h, Oct. 30th on 102.50 MHz). "Blessed" because the girls of my childhood friend (age 7 and 8) in the back seats immediately stopped teasing each other ... LOL
Astrid from Germany)
Hello, Astrid,
I'm very glad to know that you're spending your holidays in my country(Are you coming to Rome, where I live?) and to learn that you could hear Michael's song on the radio , that's so rare! The girls stopped teasing each other, just because of the magic power of his voice, I think!!! Try to keep in touch. Alba
Hi Alba,
concerning the girls you are completely right, we had party time - as long as the song lasted ... LOL.
Unfortunately I won't make it to Rome this time - it is too far away. It doesn't make any sense to drive for 3.5 hours with kids that start asking "when will we be there?" as soon as seat belts fasten ... LOL.
But I will return to Italy as soon as possible ... I just love being here - so maybe another time.
Heartfelt greetings
Astrid
