Hey Sylvia, well first, thanks for the description. Now I don’t know where you got that info but thanks for sharing it. That performance is on a DVD that’s on  my wish list! It’s called “Rock relief” and you can find it here:

http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7342380&WID=8217578

But you can find it on Amazon also. CD Universe is  blind-friendlier.  I don’t know if they have it in Pal region for you though. Although, come to think of it, I think you might be able to buy it as a download from Amazon so check on that. I know the link to watch that DVD was somewhere on this site and I searched for it this morning on this thread but couldn’t find it. To my knowledge, Michael sings 3 songs in that concert. Anyway, thanks for the precision sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Just went into the Internet Sylvie and looked up "Musicians for Disaster Fund" because their symbol is actually shown on the video along with the Red Cross's and read about it.   Thanks for your information about other songs and CD !!! :)

Hey Sylvia, I can't believe I'm saying this but... don't get confused now: it's a DVD, not a CD. :D Well, if you found the info about it, you should be able to find the concert itself, break a leg and keep us posted. BTW, nice detective work! ;D Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Thanks Pilar!!

Greetings from Astrid

In case you didn't see American Idol tonight. One of the contestants sang How Am I Supposed To Live Without You and the judges loved it. Jo Lo even knew the words!

Hi Gail, I heard that, wasn't he great? They even played him on the radio this morning! It's funny how, I think this is either the second time or third time an A I contestant sings an MB song and it's always HAISTLWY. I hope Michael saw that! It just prooves his theory  about the fact that good songs never die, I love it! :D Thanks a lot for sharing Gail, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

OMFG MB fans, I have no clue where this comes from and have 0 details on it, but I have to share this with everyone. This was posted on YouTube a few hours ago and it’s a song and a half:

http://youtu.be/okEIEkHI_Mg

The song is called “Spirit of American” and I’m ashamed to say I don’t know it, but wow! I listened to it a couple of times, to try and figure out when this was recorded but I'm having a bit of trouble because the choir is overwhelming him. Also, there seems to be something off about the pitch. Now judging from the music, especially at the end, you'd think Michael recorded this eons ago, but I just don't know... See what you think and enjoy! Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Wow! Thank you Sylvie!! I don't know it, its Beautiful!!

Have a great weekend,

Nicolette xx

Hi folks,

Below is copy and pasted comment that subscriber in youtube has entered as a reply to my comment I put in on "Spirit of American":-

"You know, I didn't actually download it; I ripped the song from the original YouTube video to Audacity, and with correct timing, I pitched the whole song to E flat."

It sounds as though it is as I thought a theme tune for something ....away to check !!!! :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqxYA4iExDc&feature=related   Here is the original. This was a commercial or documentary for American Airlines that Michael did around 1999.  His song is towards the end of this video...sounds better and hasn't been altered like the other one.  Gail
