Hello everyone, My friend and I attended the Pro Am Golf event in Cromwell, CT yesterday.

It was hot as HADES and more humid than anyone can imagine.  We had a great time, despite the heat and humidity. Michael was so generous and kind with his time and attention he gave the fans the entire day.. He was so funny and seem to have a great time being back on the golf course. He said it's been some time since he's been able to play golf.  He's had a crazy schedule with no golf on it lately. He chatted here and there with me as we progressed around the course during the day and with others too that were following his group.  He didn't have his best round of golf but he had some great shots when everything went right.. He is a great golfer.. His foursome had the pro,  a friend of his and also Actor Rob Morrow, he's got the TV show NUMBERS now but I remember him on the TV Program Northern Exposure quite some time ago. He's a very good golfer.. It was nice seeing MB play again and despite the heat and humidity, I did manage to walk the course the  5 hours it took to play( Well all but the one hole we couldn't get to the way the course was layed out-we made a wrong turn-caught him at the next one)..We had an average size group following him and at different holes crowds were sitting in the shade to watch each group play through. MB would stop and sign anything people brought and quickly pose for photos if asked after they played the hole and were moving to the next. He had to keep catching up to his group with doing all that for the fans.. He had to run to catch up also one time due to being interviewed by the media.  He  also walked sometimes close to where we were to catch up..It was a more casual atmosphere than at a concert and it's nice to see Michael relaxed and having a good time, along with all of us in the heat. LOL That was the talk of the day!!!  Ugh!!!  I had some things signed including my copy of the USA release of the new CD, and the card sent by the floral company from the Twitterparty contest where I won the call and also a photo I took of the flower arrangement that was sent. He commented how it was a nice arrangement and how funny it was to him that the one call was me..(A fan that he's known for some time.)  I said I thought it was funny too.  He's got a very busy schedule and I can see he is tired and he's hopefully going to get a break now. He's not slowing down, he said they want more shows and that is great! So I think we will continue to see more shows added to the schedule as time moves forward.  There were quite a few men lined up for autographs from Michael as well, not just women. Some had some older vinyl albums and things like that. He seemed to enjoy seeing those things appear to be signed!!  He was talking about how he loved the countries he's been to recently, he mentioned China and Australia both.  He said to a fan that the people in China know the words to his songs.

I have pictures of Michael and will post some in the gallery over the next day or two.

Michael never disappoints his fans and it's always worth it. Nothing a shower and some good food didn't fix afterwards!!LOL  We had gone to a Pro Am event 7 years ago and watched him play at this same course and we enjoyed it so much that time, we wanted to go again this year.  I always enjoy driving to CT and this trip was a fun time with my good friend and seeing other fans and getting to see Michael play golf for the day. That was worth every ounce of sweat and every step I took around the golf course to do it!!LOL   TPC at River Highlands in Cromwell, CT  is a beautiful course and I enjoyed seeing it again.

Thanks Michael, (We made it to the end!!LOL)

EDITED TO ADD THAT I NOW HAVE A PHOTO ALBUM FROM THIS EVENT IN THE GALLERY SECTION OF THE FORUM. Feel free to save any of my pics for your own enjoyment, I just want to get the credit for taking them. Thanks!!! I hope you like them.

The day was perfect, the golf game was good and now it was time to party Wednesday at the TPC River Highlands, where golfers, guests and the celebs blew off steam at a by-invitation-only, top-shelf party.

Michael Bolton provided the entertainment and the 911 on his plans, which include getting much more involved in the annual PGA tournament in order to promote his Bolton Charitable Foundation.

"The golf game was great, not great enough to win, but still good," said Bolton, who played in the Pro-Am match with pro-golfer Brett Quigley, actor Rob Morrow and Connecticut real estate guy Tommy Febbraio.

Febbraio, who owns a golf course down Westport way, was trying to convince Morrow to stop by Thursday and play a round before heading home.

"I have to check with my wife," admitted Morrow, who appeared on "Northern Exposure" and "Numbers" and is set to do a new TV show in the fall. "If I golf again, I'll be getting home late!"

Former Connecticut resident John O'Hurley was also on hand, joking about his game but dead serious when it comes to what's up next professionally.

"I'll be opening on Broadway in "Chicago" in July," said O'Hurley who had other news as well.

"We bought a place in Vermont," he said. "It has its own lake and my plan is to do a lot of fishing with my son."

Hartford hospitals were well-represented with both St. Francis Hospital president Chris Dadlez and Hartford Hospital president Elliot Joseph enjoying the party after rounds of golf.

So were Hartford area restaurants. Vinnie Carbone of Carbone's Ristorante was overseeing the food served at the soiree, which included a sushi table by Feng and a chocolate table courtesy of Munson's.
Hi Janniche, I will try to do a new album just with those pics. I have some other things to do here today, will work on it tonight or tomorrow. Promise!!! :)

Thanks for asking!
Robin :)
Thanks Juliet, Yes he does, the atmosphere is more casual at those types of things!
Robin :)
Hi Robin,

Thanks for posting this! What a great time you had yesterday! It's always great to hear how much Michael appreciates his fans. The only time I've seen him play golf is at the MBC Galas.....and, naturally, the course is 'closed'.

Anna :o)
Hey Anna, We had fun but OMG that weather, it about killed us all.. But we made it.. I know, the MBC golf event isn't set up like these Pro-Am events or some other charity golf things we did years back when we could walk the course and follow Michael.. It's fun..exhausting but worth it!!

I enjoy seeing him having some fun and spending time with fans. Yes, he does appreciate the fans, very much. That comes through so clear and I know at times they wanted him to move along as he was slowing down his team some but he wanted to see as many fans as he could all day..He did the autographs anyway!!LOL Go Michael!

Robin :)
Hi Robin,

The weather has been brutal here as well....on Wednesday we had a heat index of 110°!! Good Lord! I wouldn't have been able to walk the course for 5 hours!! I don't know how you did it! Can't wait to see your photos!
