Hi everyone,
I think enough of us are watching American Idol (AI) to make this thread worthwhile. So I am taking Sylvie from Canada's suggestion to move it from New Tour Reviews 2011 and give it it's own thread here in Off Topic. Since tonight starts the top 11 voting, it's getting interesting and a good time to start talking about it.
I have been a fan since it started 10 years ago. Hard to believe it's been on that long, not many TV shows last that long. So to anyone watching: "who is your favorite?"

OMG Kathy when I saw all the comments you had put in here I thought what has she been up to and now I am looking at them all and I can't figure it out....I am trying to fit comments into previous ones and they don't really go but some fit not too badly but others ............ LOL. Is that bucket of soapy water to wash the walls down....like get rid of DeAndre and MB's bonnet or have I to put carbolic soap in and wash my mouth out ???? LOL. Believe it or not I haven't had a shower with a duck but as my motto is: "never say never" I had better shut up !!!! LOL. Also too you say about me celebrating....am I supposed to be celebrating something ???? LOL. The way I feel I think I will just stay in bed all day and hopefully whatever it is will never arrive....but that is being terribly negative....look on the bright side girl....you're 101 and you don't look a day over 80 ....now that is something to be positive about !!!! LOL.

LOL...Sylvia...I tried to answer in the right places!!! Soap was for the dirty old lady....not showing all one's cards refers to being married....you ARE always ducking.....celebrating your birthday....and on and on...LOL This is what happens when I am gone for a few days due to the holiday festivities. Chaos!!! lol

Just goes to show you are never too OLD to learn for I have never heard that "not showing all one's cards" refers to being married of course it could be too due to the fact I have never been married but maybe too that is where I have gone wrong.....too open....yeah, read me like a book !! LOL Oh dear, I have just thought....have I spoiled my chances with MB now by letting him know what I want to do....okay...in fantasy land again but if I can't go there on my birthday................. ROFL

Believe this definitely says it all ...................................and now tonight "back to the good part".....American Idol, that I really don't watch that much !!! ROFL My pants are on fire !!! LOL.
Sylvie what I have been up to now is that I have added to that "cloud" picture Joy put in and I not only have MB in the cloud but I have replaced the girl dreaming about him and I have put the picture of the duck that was from Joy's one for me of the "cold shower" between MB and myself and off to the side I have written: "Doomed to fail because of a DUCK !"

I FELL ASLEEP!!!! Omg......what a show I missed. Will read the other responses first and then comment ;) I think it was a set up Sylvie. I just can't believe this happened without any intervention. My son said he heard that TMZ put out a warning for everyone to watch AI because there was going to be a bombshell. Something just seems wrong!!!

Hey Kathy, I hope you've caught up on the results. So TMZ put out a warning before the show? Something has to be wrong, honestly... I think it was Randy who said that people had to vote for the best, this wasn’t just a popularity contest...And even if it were, to my knowledge, Jessica certainly seems to be a public favourite so what the heck? It really is disappointing Sylvie, Joy and Sylvia. What is so wrong with having a show that simply has the singers sing???? WHO needs all the drama???? WHY do the producers think we NEED drama???? I don't get it. That is why the shows from the 50's seemed so satisfying. They were just basic shows with no "ruffling of feathers" or fear of losing viewers. Ok...new job....become a show producer!!! lol
