I've taken my wife to see MB at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi for the past six years and due to their policy of reserving all the floor seats for their VIPs and High-Rollers, we've never gotten good seats even on the day they went on sale. However, this year Michael has changed venues to the Hard Rock Casino and the minute the tickets went on sale, I got front row, seats 5 & 6! My wife is literally going to die when she finds out! My only problem now is that the December concert date is so far away. The suspense is going to kill me! :-)

Congrats Chip, keep up the good work! Now about the scalpers, it's really unfair to the fans, but if you look at it another way, it  says much about Michael's sustaining popularity in your area so that's one bright side. Well anyway, keep us posted on any developments Chip and we're all keeping our fingers crossed for you that the surprise is delivered in due time and not before, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada :D

Hi Chip,
I just ran across your post here and wanted to say how exciting for you and your wife, congratulations on your great seats. What a beautiful present you are giving your wife for her birthday and what a special evening I know you both are going to have. Hope you can keep that secret. I agree with Sylvie, come on here and vent if you feel like the cat is about to escape the bag. I know whatever way you decide to handle it you and MB will both be a hit on your wife's birthday. ENJOY!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Kathy T:-))

Hi Chip and just wanted to come on here and say to you that I hope you stay safe and that old Isaac doesn't gain in strength as they fear but crashes to nothing but a little breeze once he hits shore......stay safe and that goes for everyone in Isaac's path that may just come on here and read this.   My thoughts are definitely with you all and may your God go with you....keep safe !! :)

Can I just put a call out too to someone, via this thread, and that if she comes in and reads please get in touch and it goes to Lue Harbin......hey, Lue, where are you sweetheart ??? :)

Thanks Sylvia for bringing up Hurricane Isaac. I too hope that everyone in its path stays safe and is prepared.

Take Care and Caution Everyone,

Kathy T.:-))

Hello Sylvia, thanks for the concern. We are about 30 miles inland so coastal flooding is not an issue. However, the wind gusts were pretty severe this morning around 3:00am when Isaac came ashore. We have one tree down but we still have power so that is quite a blessing. Other than that, it has been raining steady for the past 24 hours and they expect it to continue for the next day or so. Thanks again for the well-wishes!

Glad to hear things not too bad with you Chip and at least Isaac does seem to be losing some strength but just such a pity any of the levees were breached again in New Orleans but thank goodness nothing as bad as with Katrina....stay safe !!! :)

Hope all is well with you Chip and your family:  haven't heard from you for a while ???    I was looking at Michael's tour schedule and thought that you are coming up to a very definite countdown to your concert and was wondering if you had managed to keep the secret about the tickets, or if those beans had been spilled ???  LOL.   Whatever has happened I want to wish you well and hope, you and your wife, have a fantastic time on Saturday, 8th !! :)

Take care Chip and have a blast !!! :)

Hello Sylvia, we've been doing great and I hope the same for you and your family. Fortunately, I've been able to contain the secret and she doesn't even know Michael is in concert next weekend much less that she has front-row seats. My plan is to try and keep it a secret as long as possible. All I've said is to make plans for a baby-sitter because I have something planned. I hope to keep the concert a secret until we get to the casino, and even then I won't spring the tickets on her until we get ready to be seated. I emailed the event manager there in hopes of a "meet & greet" but I have had no response back. Regardless, she will still love the front-row seats! Thanks again and I'll let you know how it all goes!

OMG Chip that is absolutely wonderful......I am so, so pleased it has worked out for even if she finds out now you have definitely been a winner on that one.....just fantastic !!! :)    I for sure can admit that it would be no use me thinking of keeping a secret like that for as long as you have....I would have needed to have stitched my mouth shut and I think that might just have given it away a little bit that there was something I was hiding  !!! LOL.

A little heads up that we have heard at the last couple of shows Michael has done, don't know about last night, but he has been doing signings after the shows so maybe have a good look round and certainly don't rush straight out of theatre.

Hope all goes well and that you have a fantastic time and please come back in and tell us your very own "Bolton Adventure" !!! :)
