Black Hudson?
I know it's not the most valid source but wikipedia said that on September 1, 2012 Michael Bolton released an album titled Black Hudson. Anyone know anything about this? I've looked everywhere and found nothing.

Hi again Scott, I was just re-reading your last post, thinking that your parents might not have written Michael off so easily if they'd heard his 80's albums like "Michael Bolton", "Everybody's crazy" and "the hunger" or his 2 Blackjack albums from 1979 and 1980. Funny how everything happens for a reason. One of my girlfriends almost attended a concert of his when Michael was opening for Bob Seger in 1983, but discovered him when she heard "That's what love is all about" in '87 and the rest is history. My parents knew who he was but they really like hard rock like Metallica and Dio. I have a good chunk of Michael's albums. I really like The Hunger, it's got a unique feel to it for Michael. I can't find his Blackjack albums and I am having one heckuva time finding "My Secret Passion." I do like a lot of the Rhythm/Dance genre, ironically I don't like nightclubs or anything. Just the music. I will listen to virtually every genre I just don't like most of the rock genre. That would be amazing! Bob Seger and Michael Bolton.

Amazon sellers have the “Blackjack anthology” CD that contains both albums, but they’re selling them at crazy prices. However, there are plenty of used music-selling web sites like eil.com or mattscdsingles.com or maybe half.com you can look into. The LP’s were out of print long ago, but I think they reissued the anthology in 2006. Incidentally, I checked another site and discovered there was a jazz artist named BlackJack so just make sure you have the right one! :D So there you go Scott, take care and break a leg! Hope you eventually do get to listen to ALL Michael's music apart from owning it too Scott......hope you do get all the albums you are missing and I am pretty certain you will for they always crop up on e-Bay....just have to keep looking !! :)
Certainly looks as though we are maybe, just maybe, starting to get little teasers being fired out about new CD for the info. Pilar has found and shared in the Music section under the New CD thread looks very much like the start of. especially with a song title being announced....or maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part but, whatever, any information is terrific !! :)

Hi There Scott and welcome. I too am on the search for cds by MB I have not had and am replacing a few I lost or misplaced along the way. I like Amazon myself. I know there a lot of places to look for MB's music and Sylvie and Sylvia are books of knowledge. I saw Soul and Passion on Amazon yesterday. You will find imports there, too.

Thought you might like to see this video Scott and it hasn't long been uploaded to youtube. It is of Michael singing "Vesti la Giubba" and it is taken from the DVD "My Secret Passion" so gives you an idea of how the DVD was recorded in Catania because where, at the beginning, you see Michael telling a little bit about the aria that is in fact what he does throughout the DVD.....it is beautifully done and I think you would agree the "surroundings" are pretty spectacular too !! :) It has been uploaded by a friend of ours on here Marie Rusova and I can assure you that if you go to her youtube channel I am fairly certain you will find many MB songs that you have never heard, so much so if I was a betting person, which I am, I would put a bet on with you that you will at least find three songs you have never heard before !!! LOL. Should also add that where you see, against certain songs, that Marie has called them "rare" they are only "rare" to her and possibly others in Europe because they have been recorded on different versions of CD's and may only be available in the States but Marie doesn't appreciate that you can still buy those versions outside of the States and that basically the songs are not "rare" at all.....I have tried to explain to Marie but it is difficult as her native language is Czech and although I try writing to her in it she still will not accept what I try to say so as she is a wonderful fan of MB's and promotes him tremendously on FB I have decided to give up the ghost and let her, if she believes they are "rare" believe that for no harm done in adding that word to title and in fact may make more people listen to when they think it is something "rare".....possibly a good advertising ploy that Marie does not know she has created !!! LOL. Also too she has a few songs on her channel that in fact have never been recorded to CD's and one you must listen to is "The Man" which I am sure is on her channel and if not you can find it on mine at "Doughty65"....it is a must to listen to but in meantime I do hope you enjoy video Scott !! :)

Thank you very much Sylvia! I love it. I am subscribing to you both... I am monsterproductions27, it's where I put my videos i've done that I can put up on youtube.... I am still deciding which song is my favorite on My Secret Passion... They are all so well made I'm not sure yet haha.
