Black Hudson?

I know it's not the most valid source but wikipedia said that on September 1, 2012 Michael Bolton released an album titled Black Hudson. Anyone know anything about this? I've looked everywhere and found nothing.

Glad you are still enjoying CD Scott and it is difficult to pick one as the best and I opt for "Celeste Aida" and that is only because I love the opera Aida.....think we really should just agree they are all great !! :)

Have gone into your channel and had a little look at some of your videos and I will definitely be making a return journey but have to say loved and laughed at the little bit of "Jack Sparrow" but please teach that boy the words....imagine him not knowing them !!!! LOL.

Hahaha yeah we tought him the words after in that video. We told him to sing Jack Sparrow and he did that part and we had to hold from laughing because we didn't even know what to say haha. Glad you like it! Where on your channel is The Man? I have been looking for it but haven't found it. We plan to do more Michael Bolton related videos in the future!

I have searched and searched for "The Man" and "The Man" has gone.....nowhere on youtube and have checked through website where I knew link had been placed but message that comes up is the "oops sorry.........." !!    I have also checked the Romanian site where it came from but it comes up with message that they don't have anything for MB !!  I have it as an MP3 because I downloaded it from the site when we first got to hear about it and I am not too sure if to upload it onto youtube or if there is some specific reason why it has been deleted and the uploading of may be frowned upon..... what do you think Sylvie, if you are about ....seems a strange one, doesn't it ???? :)   In the meantime....sorry Scott that you are not getting to hear it because it is a darn good song to say the least !!! :)

Hey Sylvia, Same case here. I usually find it when I put it in quotes but it didn’t work this time. You might want to ask Florin if he knows. Florin had found a link to “The man” single, yet unavailable to my knowledge on an Asian site. Didn’t Marie Rusova have it on her channel? All I know is that it was never been included on an MB album, it was posted on YouTube last year with no description and no clue to its origin. It sounded to me as if it could have been included on “One world one love”, judging by the sound of it. Sorry I can’t help you find it, but as I’ve said: ask Florin. As for why it was taken off YouTube, maybe the first uploader closed their account. Well you know more about YouTube inner workings than I do sweetie. In any case, good luck with Florin and sorry Scott... Hmm, it was never put on an MB album... Sylvia, maybe you can ask Gail permission to upload it? It's worth the shot! Ask her and let us know. Thanks Sylvie and I will check further into it and not a bad idea that if I don't come up with anything checking with Gail if she can find out if MB would object to an upload on youtube.   I must admit I am more of the opinion that it came from the period when he was with Nicolette and that is how at that time he believed he was the man who had everything and that is why we may never ever have it recorded or heard again from MB.   I will keep checking though !!! :)

Hey Sylvia, I was suggesting to ask to upload it here, as an attachment to a comment sweetie. Gail had allowed the ALW songs to be uploaded as attachments 2 years ago because they hadn’t been recorded officially. It’s quite possible that if Michael indeed wrote “The man”, that it was written during his engagement and that’s his business, I’m just saying the sound, the choice of instruments, the backups and arrangements to me sound like part of the OWOL period. Well, actually the backups sound a bit more like “Next lifetime” in 2005 but what do I know. Anyway, let’s see what Gail says. Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

I have no idea how to upload an MP3 as an attachment to a comment Sylvie but I am a bit confused as to why there should be any problem when it was on the website as a link or is there some great difference and something I am missing but, in any case, it is certainly something outwith anything I could tackle so asking Gail or not is irrelevant because I won't be doing !!! lol.   

I asked Marwen about as he had it on his channel and he said he was going to see what he could do about getting it back up on youtube but why those who had put it up removed it that is what I am wondering about especially when their website shows nothing for MB .....if we get it back up and someone asks for it to be removed so well and good  !! :)

Hey Sylvia, Well, according to Gail, there is apparently a difference between putting up a link or a copyrighted song on here. If you’d like to know what it is, she could tell you. As for uploading something as an attachment, I suspect it’s similar to uploading pictures. I personally type my message, then click on “Upload file”, then click on “browse”, then shift-tab twice, browse through my documents, then tab over until “open” and enter: simple! Lol If you could use a little help with that, check out the “hints and tips” thread in the “off topic” section sweetie. I hope that helps for future reference, if anything. HI SYLVIA & SYLVIE!  I FOUND A LINK WHERE YOU CAN LISTEN AND DOWNLOAD  "THE MAN"   I DOWNLOADED IT YESTERDAY  I CAN TRIED TO UPLOAD IT AS AN ATTACHMENT TONIGHT (I AM AT WORK NOW)  NOT SURE IT IS OK TO UPLOAD  HERE IS THE LINK  PLEASE LET  ME KNOW IF IT WORKS

Hi Scott, that's the problem sweetie: we don't know. Glad you were able to hear it though, isn't it great? It just appeared on YouTube one day, the fans spread it around on FB and here, but there were no details or description. Florin who's a member here but most active on FB had found it to be listed on an Asian site, pending release as a single, but not included on any album. I just wanted to say, as I've told Sylvia, before uploading audio files, you have to ask Gail. You see, copyrighted songs you can't, but that one, we didn't know anything about.
