2013 Book and CD Promotions
I wanted to start a new thread here to keep any promotional tv or other appearances for Michael new book or CD. So far this is what I have. They will also be listed on the main page but I will try to remember to bring them over here. As always, check your local listings for times and stations but most will be NBC. Times will vary:

Wow and thanks a million Lisa for putting the link back on for I never thought to check it to see if anything still there for it just shut down last night after programme finished and I believe I owe a HUGE apology to Mary in saying she couldn't watch now......I do sincerely apologize Mary for I thought you were just getting as confused as I generally am and my condition was catching.....sorry, sorry, sorry and I do hope you love interview and get to watch soon !!! :(

HI ALL! THE SHOW LAST NIGHT WAS GREAT JOY, LEE AND I GOT OUT FRONT ROW SEATS THEY WERE FRONT ROW CENTER I HAVE TO THANK LEE FOR THIS AS SHE CALLED AND COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES THEY RESERVED IT FOR US THE SHOW WAS GREAT I WILL GIVE MY REVIEW LATER AS I HAVE TO GO TO WORK BUT WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW WE GOT FRONT ROW AND GOT OUR BOOKS PERSONALLY SIGNED AS A WELL A PHOTO WITH MICHAEL

Hi Gloria and can't wait for the reviews and it is just a pity that on the replay they have missed out the very beginning but as nothing was happening except hearing songs from the new CD and looking at two empty chairs can't blame them but absolutely certain as Robin MD said last night that it was the three of you that you could see quite clearly sitting at the front for Joy was dressed in something teal and Lee looked either brown or black and did you have on red Gloria or were you the other side of Lee and were dressed in grey (?) and at one point Joy had papers she was looking at and sorting through.....got to watch what you're doing when there is a camera on you.....LOL I also believe, on many occasions, Michael actually looked down toward you all and you didn't half get huge smiles and I would have said ones of recognition too....it certainly looked a fabulous night !!! :)

Yes, that was me looking thru papers!! Didn't know I was on candid camera at that time before it started! LOL!
And I also think yes, he looked at us a few times. Mainly because of course we were so close! But hopefully he remembers his fans after they go to a lot of concerts & book signings etc. And the 3 of us have!

Thanks for letting us know Joy and what you were doing....just a pity you didn't get to ask questions but in actual fact the live screen was up at least 15 to 20 minutes before anything started and think the late start was probably due to Michael getting Valerie primed up on the opening he wanted which definitely was brilliant for there was no way it entered your head that she was phoning him and then when he walked out on stage with his phone to his ear.....a super opening !!! :) Thanks again for sharing it all Joy, thanks !!! :)

HI ALL! I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT THE SHOW LAST NIGHT I MET JOY AND LEE AT THE 92ND STREET Y AT 6:15PM WE WALK TO A NEARBY DINER FOR DINNER AND WAS BACK AT THE Y BY 7:20PM LEE SPOKE TO SOMEONE THERE AND THEN A MANAGER CAME OUT AND TOLD US TO STAND AT THE PREMIUM TICKET HOLDER LINE WE WERE FIRST ON LINE SHORTLY AFTER ELANA JOINED US ON LINE WHILE WAITING ON LINE WE GOT THE SURPRISE OF OUR LIFE WE ALL ASSUMED MICHAEL WAS ALREADY IN THE BUILDING HE WAS NOT I HEARD SOMEONE SCREAM HERE HE COMES AND WHAT DID I SEE MICHAEL WALKING TOWARD US I WAS IN SHOCK I MANAGED A VERY WEAK HI AND WAVED LEE WAS IN TOTAL SHOCK AND FROZE UNABLE TO SAY ANYTHING ELANA I THINK MANAGE TO SAY HI POOR JOY MISSED THE WHOLE THING SHE WAS IN THE LADIES ROOM! AT 7:45PM THEY LET US INTO THE HALL THIS I BELIEVE WA THE ORIGINAL KAUFMANN HALL NOT THE BUTTENWEISER HALL THEY TOLD US THE FIRST FIVE ROWS WERE RESERVE FOR PREMIUM TICKET HOLDERS WE PROCEEDED TO THE FRONT ROW AT FRONT AND CENTER WERE SEVERAL SEAT RESERVED FOR US WITH LEE AND JOY,S NAME ON IT IT WAS GOOD SEATS I WAS SITTING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF MICHAEL THE SHOW STARTED AT 8:20PM AND WAS GREAT I ENJOYED THE VIDEOS THEY PLAYED AND MICHAEL'S RODNEY DANGERFIELD WAS SO FUNNY MICHAEL SEEMED VERY RELAXED THROUGHOUT THE INTERVIEW AND APPEAR TO ENJOY HIMSELF MICHAEL WAS SMILING THROUGHOUT THE INTERVIEW BUT I THINK THE BIGGEST SMILE WAS WHEN HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HIS GRANDCHILDREN ESPECIALLY HIS NEWBORN GRANDSON DYLAN THE SHOW ENDED AT ABOUT 9:30PM WITH THE SHOWING OF THE CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW VIDEO
THE BOOK SIGNING WAS GREAT AS WELL IT WAS IN THE ROOM NEXT TO THE HALL SHORTLY AFTER WE GOT ON LINE SOMEONE CAME AROUND WITH A STICKY PAD AND ASK EVERYONE IF WE WANTED OUT BOOKS PERSONALIZE SHE WROTE OUR NAME ON A STICKY PAPER AND WE STUCK IN ON THE PAGE WHERE MICHAEL SIGNED SO HE WOULD KNOW OUR NAMES WHEN I GOT UP THERE I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS BUT MANAGE TO SAY HELLO TO HIM AND CONGRATULATE HIM ON THE BIRTH OF HIS GRANDSON JOY TOOK A PICTURE(S) OF ME AND MICHAEL IT WAS TAKEN ON LEE CAMERA SHE SAY SHE WILL SEND IT TO ME MICHAEL SIGNED MY BOOK AND A 8 X 10 PHOTO I HAD OF HIM HE WAS VERY NICE WE ALSO MET VALERIE SMALDONE ON OUR WAY OUT WE INTRODUCE OURSELVES AND JOY GOT A PICTURE WITH HER AS WE WERE LEAVING THE BUILDING WE SAW TWO BLACK CARS (ONE A SUV) POSSIBLE WAITING FOR MICHAEL WE THOUGHT OF HANGING OUT AND WAITING BUT IT WAS GETTING LATE AND JOY AND LEE HAD TO CATCH A TRAIN BACK TO NJ AND I HAD TO CATCH A BUS TO GO HOME
SYLVIA, YOU ARE RIGHT THAT WAS THE THREE OF US YOU SAW ON THE WBBCAST I WAS THE ONE IN RED AND YES MICHAEL DID LOOK OUR WAY SEVERAL TIMES AND I THINK AT LEAST ONE TIME LOOKED DIRECTLY AT ME
I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND FINALLY GOT A PERSONALIZE AUTOGRAPH AND PHOTO I HOPE TO SEE HIM IN CONCERT IN FEBRUARY 2014 IN BAYSIDE, NY
