Thanks Sylvia.. I see Caren standing up center stage for quite a few of the songs.:)

uh oh, I got caught on film, LOL  I'll have to watch those later.

Most of the crowd wouldn't stand up, they even tried to get me to sit back down, but I wasnt going to sit during HCWBL, TL&T, and especially Steel Bars, that would just be wrong!

LOL Caren I have had to chair dance at shows to those last songs sometimes and it's not as much fun!! I know what you mean! LOL

Hey guys, I know you have heard from several others so I will try not to duplicate.  It was a great show, but he cut it a little short.  He definitely did not do all of the setlist. ( I have a copy as well).  I was front row orchestra right and sat right in front of JP when he was playing the keyboards.  At the end of the show he threw me his sweat towel. I didn't get any good pictures.  I left my camera at home and went to walmart and bought and inexpensive one and I got nothing.  I took several pics of JP and none of them turned out.  MB saw me trying to take a pic once and walked over right in front of me so I could get a good shot and that is about the only good pic I have. I was about the only one in my section standing as well.  The lady behind me reached up and grabbed me and asked me to sit down (not very nicely) so I turned around and said UHHH NO!!!  she then grabbed me again and I turned around and told her not to ever touch me again!!! that was all I heard out of her and I continued to stand up!!!! The meet and greet was awesome but short.  I just ordered the pic that the photographer made at meet and greet and MB looks awesome.  I am so proud of this pic. although my husband said I looked scared.  I guess I was.  he put his arm around me and I just stood there without putting my arm around him UUGGGHHH!!!! Well always next year.  Maybe I will  be more comfortable at next meet and greet.  Thanks ladies for indulging me and Caron---very very good pics.  I will def have a better camera next time!!!!

Hi Sandy, Nice picture with Michael. I am glad you had fun other than the lady behind you touching you. I usually end up sitting when the audience behind me isn't standing.  I know it's uncomfortable when you want to stand and have fun and the audience is a sitting type audience!!  I am sorry the camera you had didn't work out for you.. So glad the prof one of MB and you came out so nice.  With Kelly out with the flu the setlist maybe didn't match some and they were maybe trying out the Christmas stuff. I have had setlists from the shows too and MB can change it up how he wants to. They are neat to have to keep tho. I like getting them also.  If you think of any more details you would like to share feel free!!

Hey Sandy, good to hear from you! From what Michael had said in interviews in the past, it seems to me that the printed setlist is a guideline, but Michael goes with the flow by being attentive to the audience. From Karen’s review, he did sing 17 songs... Sandy, if you got only 1 good picture and it’s the one Michael posed for you, I’d say  that  would be a very special one! :D  Sorry that was the only one though. Sandy, I like the way you think: already planning for the next time, good for you! :D I do hope you were able to tell him what was most important to you, though the meeting was short, but hopefully very memorable. :D Take care Sandy and thanks very much for sharing. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

Thanks Sandy for coming back in with your story and hey at least you didn't faint !!! :)   I believe you have missed a little something out...have you not (?)....for what about those SHOES ????????? LOL

As long as you had a super time, for the majority of the show, just forget the other stuff ever happened and so, so pleased you got a good photo with him at the meet and greet and as you say always next year;  treat this one as a trial run and recognize where you went wrong and do it right next time..... like...... BOTH arms right round him  !!!!!!! LOL

So pleased to hear too that you had fun with Jason and I must say I am looking forward to my Glasgow concert because it is at his side that I'm sitting and happy for you that you have got such a memento as his towel....terrific !!! :)

Thanks for the thread and the invite to this forum Sylvia.  I did have a wonderful time at the St. Charles Aracada Theatre to see Michael Bolton. I had followed his music since the beginning but had never been to one of his concerts. He is a truly talented performer and vocally surpassed my expectations. I've seen numerous interviews with him, lately the Huffington Post, May 2013.  He is a generally all around nice person. So when I met him at the meet and greet, all of my expectations about him were confirmed. He asked me to drive home safely and shook my hand twice. I will always keep that memory. Thanks for letting me share. ~ Lori, Crystal Lake, IL.

Thanks for coming in Lori and hope you will keep popping in and out of here and reading all that is going on and chipping in too when you want !!! :)

As I said to you so glad you had a great time and thanks so much for sharing about your meet and greet with Michael.....a memory to treasure but hopefully it will prove to be just the first of many !!! :)  Thanks again Lori !!! :)
