Hi Gail, lmao I hear you! lol Michael was too enthusiastic about the Leona Lewis duet to simply drop it. Thanks very much for the update sweetie, much appreciated, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D

I spoke with Michael on Fri night after The late late show and asked him about the cd.He told me that it will be Leona but the Sam version will be the bonus song .
Thanks Sharon. Cool photo...

Hey Sharon, long time no see! Thanks for the confirmation straight from Michael! I don't suppose he's mentionned what the duet with Sam will be? I'm thinking it could be "Ain't nothing like the real thing". I guess we'll find out in 3 months. Thanks again Sharon, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada

Hi Sylvie. He said it will be Ain't no mountain high enough .I think that's why they sang this on the Nta awards in the Uk

Hi again Sharon, thanks for your response. The only reason I asked is because I didn't know if they wanted to put 2 versions of the same song on the same CD. What do I know? :D Have you heard the duet with Leona Lewis? I think it was recorded off the BBC radio and someone put it on YouTube. Anyway, as I've said before, we'll find out soon enough. Thanks again Sharon, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada

Hi

Just saw the tracklist of the new album supposed to come out on May 5th and guess what?

Same songs! At least they should say that this is the exact same album with no new material to come.

We are fans and waiting, but what can we do!

I have been a fan since 1990, and i think i had enough.  For 4 years he is a recycled singer,

sorry for saying it, but it's the feeling.  Most new albums are covers with 200 editions.  They make us buy a new album for 1 bonus song.

I am tired of this.

Danny

Hi Daniel, well first, if the track listing you saw was the one on this page:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aint-No-Mountain-High-Enough/dp/B00HZA89K6/...

It's the Australian track listing and I’m sure it’s wrong sweetie, because Leona Lewis’s name doesn’t appear on it and we now know that both Leona and Sam Bailey will be on it. Now second, the contents of the CD is designed to cater to the market it will be released in by the record company, not Michael. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: noone is forcing us to buy every foreign release of the CD there is. You have to understand that Michael is popular internationally, is touring and promoting the latest album all over the world. Now, it makes sense that since the album was released in America  in 2013, it might feel fresher for fans in the U.K. if new songs or new versions of songs are added, to let them know that the U.K. market is important too and the same goes for other versions and other countries. I’m sure that if you’ve been following this site for a while, you know that Michael has been crazy busy promoting his album and his book since last year. He’s also been touring to keep us fans happy and to stay connected, while continuing doing what he loves . Amidst all that, you know he’s been writing and he was in the studio last summer recording:

He’s also been collaborating with Kid Cudi:

http://michaelbolton.com/forum/topics/kid-cudi-s-new-album-featurin...

and he’s also apparently been in the studio  with Jim Brickman:

http://michaelbolton.com/forum/topics/michael-s-music-in-2013-from-...

Plus, he’s been working on the “motor City” documentary project:

http://michaelbolton.com/forum/topics/motor-city-tv-show

... since 2011 as well as developing other TV series. I’m personally hoping that when the “Motor City” project is finally released, we should hear  more of the Motown music we’ve heard in the Vision Music trailer last year and at least, we know he’s working on new material. Since we know Michael is a perfectionist, new albums can’t pop up every year, as much as we’d like to. Well anyway, I understand your frustration Daniel, but I think that if you write Michael off, you’ll be cheating yourself out of  enjoying quality material, whenever Michael delivers it. Take good care of yourself Daniel and hope to read you again. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
